Cheers Chigz (there's currently 60 quid off Amazon UK) coupled with your code = a massive £73.50 off!...Total £196.49. (OG £269.99) LOL, i haven't bought it, because ironically i bought a different one last week...So this is for anyone else out there looking.
❤Do You think P40 has better or as good picture as WEWATCH V51 (I've seen You tested)? I have Wewatch V51 PRO and wonder if upgrade to P40 (my Wewatch very loud and input lag a little too big)...❤
I wonder If this projector beat my Wewatch v51 Pro in terms of picture. When I watch 4k video sample of animals on Wewatch, it looks spectacular at times. Anyway I will try this one cause Wewatch has very loud fan noise and pretty big input lag for gaming...
After your video I purchased this, I can’t thank you enough how great this product and does all what i need, one question is there any app for remote incase if lost remote
I believe there is no app and replacement costs $20: bit.ly/3TMOZTQ Alternatively you can buy a universal remote, ideally the ones that have a 2.4ghz wireless dongle.
Can you do an xgimi mogo 2 (the non-pro) vs this ultimea apollo p40... with emphasis on measuring actual ANSI lumens for both. I don't believe what manufacturers report... thank you
Just watched a film with this one at my friend's. Wow, now I'm ordering one! I always thought that cheap projectors are crap, but not this one for sure
Chigz quick question bud, if you plug the shield into the hdmi, will it have to connect to WiFi or can it still run off ethernet cable using this projector?
Hello thanks for your review. If you know could you please see the questions below. 1. Does this projector play from the USB port x265 10bit files? 2. Does It plays srt. subtitles with all European characters (like Ç, Á, Õ etc)?? 3. It's possible to change the subtitles size or colour?
Hi I just bought one because of your video, the part when you said how is this possible it should be worth £1000 is the bit that sold it for me, hopefully its as good as it says it is.
I bought this projector myself two months ago and also a matching 120 inch screen for the living room and I am really happy with the picture - you can watch both sports and films with it ✌🏼👍🏻
Gaming on any of these budget projectors sucks stinky poopy. Input delay makes any timing based games unplayable. 8:12 is a perfect example how he couldn't even time the shot correctly. Either buy it for movies or purely cinematic games.
@@ChigzTechI will say the fact it actually accepts the 4K signal is a surprise. Most of the cheap projectors that say "4K support" don't actually do this. Now even more complicated to tell which ones are lying 🤦♂️
Hi. How do you rate the screen brightness compared to Thundeal TD98? Moreover, you once said that Thundeal TD98 plays movies on Netflix only in SD quality, and does Ultimea Apollo play movies on Netflix with a higher resolution?
How is it possible for 250$? Simply--there are 250-350$ 1080p portable projectors with a battery and 400-500+ ANSI lumens. So now I don't think it should cost more than 170-200$ New.
Can't wait till we start to see SUPER CHEAP (but good quality) ULTRA SHORT THROW PROJECTORS. For those of us that really just want one for fun and not use it as our main "TV".
I got a viewsonic 4K 3200 lumen projector. Its bright. Colorful like a laser projector at 1/4. Or more of the price of 2000-3000 short throw projector in got it last year on black friday. Crazy as picture and for gaming . Movies
Also, my mates and I would like to play 4 player Mario Kart - has anyone had any problems with this? Amazon reviews are mixed - a reviewer from Germany said on 10 April 2023: "everything went smoothly" for Mario Kart, but others say they don't recommend it for gaming. I'm not a competitive gamer but I don't want casual play with friends/on my own to be ruined. Connecting my switch to a friend's new TV caused some input problems in Zelda which I'd like to avoid (thankfully no problems in Mario Kart though). I'd love to hear about what you've all experienced - any feedback would be much appreciated!
Been looking for some help with this projector, just bought one, but the manual doesn't really explain what the aux port is used for, is it an aux in to feed info to the projector or an aux out for something like a wired speaker?? If it is aux out, what requirements would a speaker need to work with the projector?
Hello. Is it possible to have a chromecast connected for video playback and at the same time a projector connected via Bluetooth to the speaker? so that the image goes from the chromecast and the sound from the bluetooth speaker? Is it okay? is the sound syncronized?
I bought apollo p40 9 months ago and I'm glad I sell it because there were so many picture problem like the brightness as you cant go big and the brightness is no way near to 700 ansilumens it near to 500 which affects the colors and overall picture. I suggest to you invest more in dlp 3lcd or laser if you wan a true cinema experience. my xbxs didn't work in 4k as this projector it told me not support it. I hope this benefits you and good luck :)@@juliocesarmannn
Just unpacked the projector and tried it out. VERY disappointed. The image quality is supposed to be 4k quality, but it was blurry and unfocused. The colors were not vibrant. The worst part is that I couldn't get the image to focus properly with the manual zoom. Either the right side of the screen was blurry or the left side was blurry. I project against a white wall in my basement perhaps 15 ft away, and can't get a reasonably focused image in a dark room. Just junk, really. For context, I've been using an Apeman LC650 for almost 5 years now, and it had FAR better image quality. The only reason I wanted to switch was because the bulb is starting to dim. You can pick one up for less than half the price of this projector.
@@yyggutyyggh5349 i tried IT With a HDMI Splitter because I watch series With my fire TV Stick. But the ps5 need the direct Connection to the p40 for the 4k 60hz Signal . Use the cable from the ps5 and IT will Work
The ideal distance. For example if your screen is 75 inches distance away 14 ft 10 inches. Did you see what I did there? Again, if your screen is 55inches. Distance away should be 10ft 10inches
For the casual gamer you will struggle to notice any input lag. I found it very good for gaming, enjoyable experience. But the hardcore gamers who are used to 1ms response time on their monitors will probably not like the experience on a projector. To match your 1ms monitor you need to spend maybe 4 to 5 times more money. At this price point don’t expect a gaming projector performance.
I noticed a lot of lag to the point i find it unplayable. What firmware version were you on@@ChigzTech ? This projector is awesome for movies because using an AV receiver i can match the audio to the video delay but for gaming it is a NO!
@@ChigzTech do the parrot 1 have input lag? im reading coments and some people complain about it. Im thinking about these two and parrot I is two times cheaper. Did the difference betweeen parrot I and apollo p40 is worth it?
Hey Chigzy Please can you test something for me? How is the horizontal keystone on this because I want to place the projector off centre, on my bedside table. Does this projector need to be placed direct, head on to the screen? Tried a Wimius P63 which lost focus on one side when adjusting keystone.
Hello sir ! I just bought one recently and I have to say that I’m more then satisfied with it … I still don’t have a PS or an Xbox but it’s coming soon. The games look great ! Many thanks for the demonstration. 🎩
@@ChigzTech Looking at similar ones, probably around £400-£500 with higher ANSI lumens thrown in (3000) - I'd still pay for that cos that's better than more known brands that charge £1k+ for same.
