Hey, great video, thanks for your review. I'm inclined to buy this soundbar. I only have one question. This may be a dumb question, but my fear around products like this is the possibility of lag between the picture and the sound. For example, watching movies, will I notice any lag from the moment the actors move their lips and the moment I hear their voices? Thank you. :)
I want to connect to my tv without arc or e arc. How can i get full uncompressed Dolby Atmos or DTS X ? Do i have to connect tv indirectly through an extractor i.e. arcana or orei?
This one compared to the ultimea nova s50, which one would work best to watch football games in my bedroom? Is it worth the extra $100? Is my question lol
The Nova S50 is really good. The D60 is more refined, I'd say. For eg. I have the S50 in the office now, so I can hear music (with a loud bass!!) and the D60 in the living room, connected to the tv for movies. Both have great quality!
Have you ever seen 'DOLBY ATMOS' on the screen of the soundbar being shown? I have it hooked up on my eARC and never seen this when watching a Dolby Atmos movie. I've only seen 'DOLBY SURROUND ' being displayed.
Even if showed up, that sound bar doesn't have any Atmos speakers (upfiring) so it doesn't make any sense anyway. Best case scenario, atmos content will be redirected in the main and surround speakers. Don't expect Atmos sound. Miracles not found.
@@MorganReidguitar I have seen the Dolby Atmos being displayed by now, but I don't know if it is actually Dolby Atmos. Maybe there is no difference between the D50 and D60. Would love to see a side by side comparison video
If you connect it with Bluetooth, are the rear speakers active, like having sound coming from them? I am not talking about dolby but just sound so they will not be quiet
@@deondixon3267 good, the Surround isnt always noticeable because they are small passive speakers. But all in all it s very good especially for this lower Price
I never tried the Signa 4, so it’s hard to me to have an opinion on it. I noticed it is more expensive. Sound quality of this Poseidon is really good, that I can say :)
Can anyone help out..I do have it connected with optical cable only,when I connect hdmi ARC it doesn't work at all. In tv is firestick and optical from soundbar. When hdmi in TV I have to chose between firestick what is hdmi 1 or poseidon what is hdmi 2..I'm clueless. Thank you
You probably have problem figured out by now but I had to put my tv sound to ENHANCED in ADVANCED SETTINGS & for sound I put PASSTHROUGH, I got a budget HISENSE 50IN 4K & POISEDEN D50, returned D50 to upgrade to D60, bout to hook up now, that's why I tuned in
Hi, due to the fact that i'll use it mainly on bt (connected to the ceiling mounted projector), is there any chance for surround sound via bt, or it only works via hdmi?
if u can u might want to invest in wall mounted connections for that system iv seen a few do it or u can move the projector to the floor not on the ground but in front of you on a table or shelf made tiny enough just to fit the projector
Bonjour Pour être franc j'ai du rendre ma box free devialet à cause d'un changement de fournisseur internet Mais j'étais entièrement satisfait de la box devialet, un son puissant avec des basses incroyable pour un modèle si compact Je me suis donc mis à la recherche d'un produit discret similaire, en écoutant les youtubers qui teste ces produits jeme suis orienté vers le Poseidon D60 !!! Je l'ai reçu tout content, je l'ai installé configuration caisson au canapé et satellite à l'arrière !! Et la DÉCEPTION !!!! Le centrale un son mais comme un haut parleur dans un tube de sopalin !! Le volume à 12 et vous aviez déjà des bruit parasites de vibration du plastique franchement ridicule !! Ensuite le caisson j'avais déjà un doute de part sa taille, mais ça c'est confirmé basses inexistantes sans parler des satellites qui sont tout autant imperceptibles !! Je vais vous dire ces essais bidons sur des films qui en plus impossible de les retranscrire par les micros qu'ils ont !! Mais l'écoute la plus courante de ces ensembles c'est comme ça pour moi mais aussi pour vous, c'est de les écouter sur les chaînes de TV standards !! C'est la dessus qu'il faut tester le son !! Puisque c'est ce que vous aurez dans les oreilles tout les jours !! Donc si se teste est négatif !! Sur des chaînes TV imaginez le sur le reste !! Et la puissance n'est rien sans la metrise (la réf...) Bref ensemble conseillé pour des personnes qui n'ont aucune demande d'écoute particulière qui leur principal demande c'est que ça gueule ! Avec des basses équivalente à la phonk brésilienne ! Donc une grosse saturation Pourquoi mentir pendant la présentation du produit puisqu'une fois reçu on peu le retourner au vendeur parce qu'on est déçu !! POURQUOI nous faire perdre notre temps avec des mensonges !! Jai acheté une free box devialet d'occasion et pour 100e c'est le meilleur home cinéma que vous puissiez trouver !! Bonne écoute !
This would be ideal for a 2.1, but as a "5.1" it is utter trash. The speakers are too close together to give any real "sense" of Front left, right, and center dynamic on that center soundbar. In reality you'd need at LEAST 30 inches of separation between the left and right for a center to sit within before it would even have any sound projecting in the right direction.
DO NOT BUY THIS SOUNDBAR OR ANY SOUNDBAR FROM THIS BRAND first off they gave me 3 different defective systems i sent back 2 of theme besides the 1 i paid for already then they sent me a refund and have now ignored me for months i ended up upgradeing to a vizio soundbar as point 2 it has no direct mode this soundbar well constantly enhance or compress sounds with thare equlizers thare is no direct mode or way to have the soundbar not edit the audio and this is due to point 3 even the posiden d60 (the one i got) says it comes with atmos thats a lie these all come with dolby digital plus a lossy codec hints why the soundbar has to enhance the shit audio aswell and my final point i had constant issues with audio crackling stuttering and just horrible audio quality out of the rears aswell the rears refected off eachother which was the defective part of my system if somethang happen in the left surround u faintly heard it in the right surround causes mixes to get fucked when listening on this soundbar GO ELTS WHARE IF U DONT WANT A BAD HEADACHE aswell they no longer give updated to the first modles of these soundbars so if u buy one seccond hand or u get old stock u could get a soundbar you cant fucking update
