The Constitution and Bill of Rights are the law of the land. Policy is null and void if it violates our rights. It is Bill of Rights and not Bill of Rights unless there is a some random policy.

It’s strange that police officers can go to places that say you have to wear a mask,however they don’t wear one in spite of the department’s so called law!
Here is why they do it.. They can get away with it. No lawyer will take your case and you will have to learn how to navigate the legal system in order to bring forward a lawsuit that will not be dismissed in the infancy of the case meaning on technical grounds and then you will have to go through the system in order to get them to settle and that takes years . So, the same government who claims to be the protector of your rights is the same government who violate your rights every second of the day

@@bjvu9460 police and cities are constantly and consistently found guilty of unlawful arrest. This is how the system works. First the police unlawfully arrest and charge an individual. The individual goes to criminal court, the criminal justice system, and due to the 1st amendment and no lega grounds, or RAS, to lawfully justify the arrest, the criminal charges are dismissed by the judge and the criminal court. Next,the following step in the procedure, the individual, with legal counsel, ie a civil law attorney, which are easy to find to represent citizens in these unlawful arrest cases especially after the court had dismissed the charges, files a civil lawsuit to the civil court system, tort law different from criminal law, in which the police and the city are found guilty of unlawful arrest and detainment, and often also of illegal search and seizure, and violation of the citizens 1st and 4th amendment rights.
Even an ambulance chasing civil rights lawyer can easily argue a suit for the violation of your civil rights. Dont let this slide. Hold them accountable. Sue the Chief personally.
@frankm5552 Nah. This is a clear violation of established case law. The Cheif won't be able to hide behind qualified immunity which will open him up to civil litigation. He can then be sued personally, instead of the tax payers flipping the bill.
That police officer telling you "'so you're looking for confrontation'' would probably tell a woman who wears a short skirt "so you wanna get graped''. YOU as a grown ADULT are responsible for your OWN actions. If a man filming in public makes YOU confront that man and YOU CREATE a confrontation, that's on YOU, not the man filming. Just like when a woman wears a short skirt, it's YOUR responsibility as a man to NOT violate her rights and NOT grape her. You CANNOT be baited into anything and you can't say "well, she shouldn't have worn that". YOU are responsible for YOUR actions. If you feel like you can be "baited'' into violating someone else's rights, that's YOUR issue that YOU need to seek professional help for. It's called being an adult.

The police Chief that brother was totally disgusting by being so aggressive and grabbing that camera off your hands. We ought to hold this Chief accountable of his repulsive and escalating actions!
How can a supervisor not know what a FOIA paperwork or document? Obviously this department needs education on the forms that they are required to know.
I'm studying law, and I'm certainly compiling a list of these officers. Action must be taken. I'm pretty sure there's all sorts of other misconduct they overlook or perpetrate. This is utterly appalling!
This is another example of how the problem starts at the top with them violating our rights and goes all the way down to the bottom. Nothing will change until they are held personally responsible and loose their job nothing will change.

It's a health department and it's appreciated when people do so. It's not every time but covid can really be nasty sometimes. I personally had one savage instance that will instantly and permanently change your mind and a 2nd one a year after that wasn't as bad but gave me severe vertigo.
