VX21 weighs almost as much as Ultra 400TX, which might help explain the overall weight. Given that the 400TX already has a 50d backer and plenty of structure with its own X-ply, using a separate liner seems pretty much redundant (probably done just for the colour, which is pretty nice). The Amhara is a bit strappy for me personally but the expandability and front panel access are really nice!

No question a VX21 interior liner is complete overkill for a pack made out of Ultra, but I'm not mad at it. I thought the weight might be an issue, but in practice I was able to get it adjusted so well that it really wasn't. Not sure what I thought would happen, but I'll say, in person this pack just impresses on a level that cannot be captured in photos or videos. You just have to 'feel' it, so to speak. Great to hear from you as usual! Always appreciate it!🤙

I wonder why great bags and great custom service like Azo aren't cover much on youtube? If I am not broke af like I am now, I would love to order a custom bag for myself from Azo Equipment.

Haha, I'm definitely doing my part! This is the 3rd Azo pack video I've done, and I've got a 4th on the way! If I had to guess, it's probably just because they're a small bespoke maker at a quality (e.g. high) price point, so not going to be as mainstream as some of the other brands. Regardless, I completely agree about how great their bags are!🍻🤙
