Do this same kinda video but with the same exact budget between the two. Then do comparison testing at the end to see who did the best at that price point.
Will say that for anyone who does have a $350 budget, getting a 2060 and a 3rd gen i7 is not a good idea. Getting a slightly worse GPU (like a 580) and a better CPU (like an older ryzen 3) will provide about the same performance, but with a much larger upgrade path (especially if going for a ryzen cpu)
I would so win this lol. The other day I saw a crazy craigslist listing for an Rx 590 and a GTX 760 for $5 and $10 respectively. I went there and it amazingly wasn't a scam, just a super nice older dude who basically said he was moving and was just gunna chuck a bunch of stuff out to save space, even the pc parts. So anyway at the end of pc nerd talk I walked away with an MSI x570 carbon wifi board, msi x470 gaming board, rx 590 and gtx 760 for $17.00, everything works great! Insanely lucky once in a lifetime deal but hey I'll count it. Dont want to brag but when you get such a sweet deal you gotta
Nice deal, but at the end of the day there's still risk in those types of deals. For the price, if they were looking to hose you they would have wanted more than 17 dollars.
Hi, I watch all your videos to build PC and I was wondering to ask a question what is the best PC case that I can buy cause I want to build my first PC
we need the same challenge but by the prebuilt hp and dell used market please!!!! love you much jack and mat!!! youre the best youtubers i have ever watched in my life best channel ever !!!!🔥🔥🔥🚒🔥
So many youtubers and "tech savvy" users were talking that R5 3600 runs fine with stock cooler... It doesn't... It never did and after just few months mine started to overheat with stock cooler and I needed to upgrade to noctua Nh-u9s. They absolutely can get damaged when used with stock coolers.
That i7 3770k needs a nice OC to 4.5ghz. I can’t believe you got a 3770k bundle for the price of just the CPU tbh nice deal. Can’t believe a 3600 is close to bottlenecking a 6600 😂
Hey Matt, I’m a big fan of what you guys have done with your channel and business, you guys have inspired me to pursue a career in computers and technology. I just want to know what made you pursue computers and technology too, and how you started your pc selling business. Thank you very much!!!
Sure, just spin a wheel because building a budget gaming PC is just like going the bank in the game South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Literally making the fact that a lot of people are broke into a joke.
Hey, i made another build and its cheaper and better let me know what you think. Ps. im not sure if the GPU will fit in the Case. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Motherboard: Asus B550M Pro 4 Ram: Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB GPU: ASRock Challenger D OC Radeon RX 6650 XT 8 Gb Case: Montech X3 Mesh ATX (6 Free Fens) PSU: Thermaltake TR2 S 700 W 80+ Certified All in all its 715 Euos. Do i need an CPU cooler? I mean the air flow in this Pc is insane for the price.
I sell on Jawa, and agree that its a great website! I just recently built a pc and am selling it on Jawa now, and I love the platform and the discord server!
as one of the curves you should make it something that always ends up being super expensive and overpriced like have a wheel and that spins different amounts of rog items needed for a build.
and how did you get your m2 to work mine keeps disapearing every time i try migrate my ssd to it let alown saying its not there it cuts it into partitions of maby 230 560 andwhat ever els hate this motherboard and m2
I'm wondering if that motherboard was capable of overclocking. Motherboards generally don't live as long as CPUs. And I think a real working Z77 motherboard is probably too pricey for the budget.
Can you make a video about which cpu and graphics card pair good together for a high end pc that you could play any game at ultra high sittings thats smooth and high fps
I really liked the cheaper budgets this time. Forcing some interesting options. The motherboard with thermal paste in it is some fun cleaning but better than a LGA MOBO with bent pins. That's one of the things I love about ryzen AM4. I'm amazed how well the 3770k did with 12gb ram. Lucky 6gb vram isn't a problem with apex legends.
5:21 "... a little over $10" It's $19 amazon and $30 newegg. That's not a little over $10. I went to each links and added them up: Case $70 - GPU $213 - Combo $51? - SSD $27 - PSU $40 - CPU Cooler $19 Total is $420. That's before tax.
New $420. They said at the beginning of the video that the parts for the challenge could be new, or used. My 3060 12gb was $250 brand new. You can definitely find a 2060 used on the market for way cheaper considering we’re now on 4000 series cards.
7:30 - There really seems to be an overrepresentation in dead or dying Ryzen 3600/3600x. Sure they're mainstream processors and will have sold in huge amounts, which means you will see broken 3600s a lot too, but yeah. Greg Salazar has encountered many broken 3600/3600x too.
What I'm wondering is did the 3600 come with the smallest ryzen cooler? Because my mother has a ryzen 1600 and it's got the next size size up cooler on it. I forgot the names, think the smallest is stealth.
Sweet dude, gpu prices have really gone down. Got my 5600xt about 1.5 years ago for $145, that was a great deal back then but now its gotten even cheaper

I’m team green because I use my PC for a lot more than gaming, but the AMD build clearly shows why their popularity is growing. I honestly don’t know why anyone would buy a Nvidia GPU to do nothing but game on it. AMD is a one trick pony and they have absolutely mastered that one trick. Nvidia GPU’s are multi talented cards which is why I think the whole AMD vs Nvidia war is so dumb.
@@Jwalker76 This is sad, but very true my friend. Millions of dollars wasted every year on GPU’s that people don’t even need, and that don’t meet their needs as near as good as the competition. I have no problem using both Nvidia and AMD depending on the task, and who’s better at the job at hand. I just wish more people thought that way instead of being an absolute die hard regardless of proven stats.
@@onlyfacts3502 yeah I agree there's cases to buy both brands. I want a AMD GPU but I'm only looking for 1080p gaming on the lower end and NVIDIA cards like the 1650, 2060, 1660 super are nowhere close to the performance of a AMD 6600.
@@Jwalker76 Couldn’t agree more the 6600 is legendary and will remain a legendary GPU. Anyone that would argue can look at the performance of the card in Alan Wake 2. For the card to be $200 brand new, and even cheaper used…what more does it need to prove. AMD has won the PC gaming war. I don’t care if AMD struggles in a few titles…if they dominate in 90% of games that’s saying a lot. I think both cards have room for improvement Nvidia on the gaming side and AMD on the AI/ content creator side.
Jawa as a sponsor? Isn't Zach from ztt partnered (part of the Jawa workforce) with Jawa? The same one who tried to brash a tb pc and failed because Danny from nerd on a budget reviewed ztt's pc with more respectful reviewing.
