I LOVE that you added the step of how to maintain the look overnight! That’s the part that deters me from trying natural styles because I’m thinking I’m gonna do all this work for one day 😩

Thanks for this tutorial! I tried my own variation of this style for graduation last week and it was cuuuuute! I got so many compliments. I did flexirods in the back and perm rods in the front. Can’t wait to do a full set of both to compare my results. 😁😁

Hard to believe this the same NSync lady with the undercut lol. Your hair has grown in so healthy and beautifully. Testament that we can wear wigs/weave AND have HEALTHY long natural hair as well.
Ms. Tonya I know right . I am pretty sure she has shaved the back of her hair. Anyway , I wouldn’t replace my own hair for a wig though. Let’s wear our own hair more often

@Honorelle, I agree genetics plays a part but what we eat and exercising definitely increase growth. I have to got to get back on track because when I was eating healthy and working my grew quickly. Now my length has been stuck at bra strap length for a while now.
Arii Ferrari because scientifically, everyone’s hair follicles are different. No one’s speaking on race in this matter, but how your follicles are shaped determines how fast your hair grows and how long that follicle will hold on to that strand. That shape is determined by genetics. Add in a healthy diet, exercise, then boom your body rewards you.

omg this looks soo good! i haven’t tried a flexi rod set on my hair cuz for the longest i felt like my hair was too short and now i feel like my hair is too long but this just proved me wrong! definitely gonna try this out 💕
I tried this style last night. It took me longer than an hour and had to sleep in my rods. But it looks so good I can’t wait to separate after work!!! My new go to style!
