There's something that I have trouble to get : Is there any logic in the order in which he does the print ? It seems to go around everywhere, where I would have expected it to go top to bottom, or left to right.
I have wondered the same thing. Only yesterday I was marking a logo and the machine did certain parts before other parts, and I tried to change it (for some reason I wanted it to mark a certain section of the logo first) and I couldn't find a way to do it. I think with this particular image though, it seems to mark the bigger items first. As the program progresses, it marks smaller and smaller circles... Maybe its something to do with circumference of each outline.
Just speculation, but I think randomizing the order could balance heat buildup in the material and give fumes some time to spread so the laser doesn't need to go through them. Drawing / vector file order seems a more likely explanation.
The person doing the programming didn't order the geometry paths or Tool path. The reason why its jumping all over the place is because this wasn't done and it is either doing the geometries in the order it was drawn in, or the random order the file was exported as.
Its a tykma vereo, it was about 35k dollars. If yanny is right and you can’t afford it, search for wisley Laser. They are a Chinese company offering similar machines much cheaper but keep in mind that they lack the customer support and service in the event of a problem.

CO2 engraver won't touch metal, I have a 100W CO2, zero affect on metal. Fiber is what you want for metal, even a 20w can Engrave deep on any metal, just semi slowly. I have a 60W fiber, it rips into metal quite well
They are not really normal motors. They have a permanent magnet and a coil, that rotates the motor shaft only by a few degrees. It's similar to a hard drive read head, and is really more similar to a speaker than a motor. The mirror only has to move a tiny bit to move the laser a long distance. There are two "motors" and two mirrors, one for each axis. They are called galvo motors
TheMetropoli you are wrong, this is real speed ;-). This is not a Typical moving head Laser, This is a galvo laser. Search RU-vid for galvo Laser marker and you will see how they work and why they are so fast.
