Beautiful trout dude! I've only caught one around his size from the stanislaus this season, but those spots on him were something else! Love the setup. I know your spinning set up might break the bank for some people, so my personal favorite "budget" spinning set up for trout is a 6'6" Okuma Celilo 2 piece ultra light paired with a Daiwa Exceler 2500xh. Certainly not the same as yours, or any high ticket JDM imports, but for around $100 bucks, it gets the job done nicely. Pair it with 6# maxima ultra green line and a suburban trout spoon and slay the Sierras!
Thank you John. I was very surprised when I saw him. Even not having any experience on the river, I knew he was a good size. The colors were so rich. He was cool. The okuma and the Dawia sound like a nice set up. I started out with Dawia combos before upgrading to these. Good stuff. Thanks for watching.
Right on!! Like the ultra light castIng setup. Looks like you mostly fish the Western slope. head to the other side and fish Bridgeport to June lake area. Hike a little and you’ll be very rewarded. Throw some mini jigs, trout love em. Good channel brother. You ride is sick. Subbed ya. Tight lines.
Thank you Joey. We are very lucky to have all these fantastic places to fish. I just got back from hunting Stripers in the Bay. Yes! Eastern SN... Too many fishing holes not enough time bro... Yee!
Enjoying the videos bro. Fellow Bay Area trout angler. Looking into an alderbaran bfs reel but debating between the regular gear ratio and the Xg. I mostly through micro spoons or mini jigs. Do you think the xg gear ratio is too fast of a retrieve? Should I just go with the regular if I’m only gonna be fishing trout?
Thank you. I get lucky 8) ...Paramount Outdoors EAG Elite 4 ...I am pleased with them so far. Got them in the bay too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YVvpXLF3qLc.html
What's up my dude I met you up by Kennedy meadows earlier this year and hooked me up with that spinner bait. Are these the rods you were using? I loved that ultralight jdm baitcaster you has but couldn't remember what it was...
I did have the mirrorless camera still havent developed the film because I dislocated my elbow but I got a couple shots of you that I'll love to send you when I bring them in the darkroom
So cool you found the channel. Sorry about your elbow. Oh man. Love to see those. My email is there. I was messing with my D500 with hi iso night shots when it was a full moon. But I need to go back with my wireless trigger next time. Thanks for watching!
