Jeremiah does an ultra low-and-slow brisket on the Spider-22. Cooked at 200 for 22 hours, rested for two, the Spider-22 made the perfect brisket.

The flat looks pretty dry…almost crispy. 🤔 Great device though. Just not the best cooking method (imo) 😅

@@SpiderGrills haha. Just said what I appeared to have seen in the video. I sold my Traeger today and ordered my second spider venom for my second kettle as I was very impressed with the first one that I installed on my 22” Napoleon. Am really enjoying your product and think the pellet spider grills is a very neat accessory for the kettle grills! In regard to brisket cooking, the biggest difference I’ve noticed is going from a choice to a prime. Fat covers many sins. 😁 Unless one cooks bbq for a living, it’ll frequently be a hit or miss situation from my experience. So please don’t take my comment offensively. 🍻

Not for a brisket. I thought the same. I’m desperately looking for a good brisket to come out of this thing. This would probably be great for ribs even pork butt or some chicken. But I wouldn’t put a brisket or a rack of beef ribs on here. I really want one though 😂

@@FishNChipsNGuacamole I think if you have the rotisserie ring on your grill, that would enlarge the volume of the kettle and would create extra distance between the proteins and heat source. I think that would improve the cooks.

@@edwardprokopchuk3264 yeah I’m sure that would improve it a lot, but then you have to worry about the side with not fat also getting to much heat equally to the top with all the fat. Chubsbbq makes a pretty good brisket with an actual coal fire on a Webber. In the end you just have to do a lot more if not cooking a brisket on an offset. And in then end as long as it’s not dry. Brisket will taste good.. I’d love to see a video on a rotisserie brisket on the Webber with the spider! It might be better than I imagine. My offset just makes such a great brisket though 😂

Seriously looking into these. I'm a huge fan of Weber kettles but love the idea of the ease of a pellet grill considering I have 2 little ones now. This seems the best of both worlds

I'd loved to get one of these but I can't justify spending 3 times what the grill cost on an accessory.
