Thank you for this video! Now I know how to carve the lower horn scallop. I was initially thinking an angle grinder with a carving attachment. But I think a drum sander on a drill is easier to control and less prone to taking off too much wood. Now I need to build a drum sander attachment.

Question about using the wood sealer and filler: if the body was to be stained, would the sealer and filler be used after applying the stain or before? Beautiful work, thanks for making the videos.

Hey ! I‘m Sam from Germany. I looked so much of your Videos. I Love it. And here i see how you make the Shaping on the Backsite of Guitar with Saw Rasp and other Rasps and you say there‘s 100 Way‘s to do that. Yes 😊😊 .... took a Rasp Disc for Grinder. I have do that at my Guitar ! And it worked well. Of course, you still have to rework fine

I appreciate you are showing the little incident at the pickup cavety. Similar thing (bearing was stuck) happened to me while routing a neck pocket and I was totally upset on it. Unfortunately when this happens, the template is ruined...

Good job and very nice wood. You still have many hours of work left to fill that open grain. A grain filler would have helped. Tru Oil is easy to use but the results are just ok. Your templates are nice also.

I've always wanted a strat, and I very much prefer this look, without paint and most of all without a pickguard. This "reversed" look, where you install the electronics and whatnot from the underside, does that have a special designation?

Love the woodworking. But I've got to ask, why do you not have any mention of raising the grain of the wood between sandings. Is it because you are not raising the grain of the wood? Is it not necessary for some reason? I've always gotten a much nicer finish by raising the grain.

You do good work, quite precise where you need it. Not all Luther's can do that. I must point out, though, your English is nearly flawless. Nearly. The word is " half" denoting 50% of something. The "L" is actually silent, the only word like that I am aware of. I don't know if anyone told you about it, a very strange word in our language. I am NOT disparaging you in any way. Simply attempting to allow you to be more precise in your communication. The way you work, I like it very much. You have a very soft touch with the wood. That makes for a really high level of quality product. It is magnificent. Looking forward to seeing you rivaling Gibson and Paul Reed Smith in quality guitars. Keep rocking' it!!! PS: The neck plates are Laser Etched. That process makes for a higher quality result and will also result in higher sales.
