2020 was a different year for everyone. With almost everything being cancelled last year, it seemed that we would not get any type of large-scale car shows in Europe...almost.
ULTRARACE was the only show (excluding TAS) I went to last year and it almost felt surreal. Sure, had it been held in Wroclaw like all the years before, it might have been cancelled or at least spectator free due to the sheer amount of cars that applied all those years.
Different venue meant different expectations and with corona hitting Europe hard at the end of the summer, I didn't know what to expect. I booked hotels a couple of days before the event, just to be on the safe side.
But being there, it felt like things were back to normal. Cars from all over Europe kept on coming in on Friday and spectators flooded the venue on Saturday. It felt like 2019 again. Will we get the chance to visit ULTRARACE in 2021? Time will tell.
