Castle Vein and it's remix in 6-1 I think. Certainly the ones that I remember very clearly. Maybe also Versus/Duel, such cool songs for such a cool rival character
There are so many songs in ULTRAKILL that I love, it is hard to choose my favourite... I think that ORDER, Altars of Apostasy and The Death of God's Will are good candidates, but I can't decide which one of them takes the 1st place. And what about you?
Never noticed how you can actually see Gabriel's "development" through the "outro" songs after you defeat him. *"Disgrace. Humiliation."* _"Silence. Introspection."_ D.H. sounds tense, has "disturbing" chords and keeps a constant tempo, and it also just drifts off in the end. This song played when the council judged Gabriel. Their glaring eyes and spiteful words were weighting on Gabriel; accused of defeat by an object. As a punishment, the Light would vanish from him, taking his body as well. He had 24 hours to defeat V1 if he wanted to survive. His confidence and bravery had now morphed into hatred and anguish, he would make the machine pay for it's sins. S. I. is calming, it has "relaxing" chords, the tempo is slower and has a proper ending, gradually slowing out and finishing with Resolution chord. Gabriel has been changed after being defeated by V1 once more. The undying anger he felt before has died out. And his will warped. How many lives has he claimed? How many people he slaughtered for a pointless cause? Now, he realizes. The Council was chasing for the Light that no longer shines. The will of the Father were corrupted by them. Gabriel was enlightened, he had a last mission: end with the Council.
Makes you wonder how the third one will sound like, if there is one since Gabriel won't have much to think of since he'll be killed by V1. Though a name like "Peace. Acceptation." could be nice, with a more light hearted feel and a slower tempo that would symbolize his peaceful death, accepting who he has become and dying without a regret.
56:58 "Ahh... Free at last.. Oh Gabriel, thy dawns the reckoning, and thy gore shall GLISTEN before the temples of man.. Creature of Steel.. My Gratitude upon thee for my freedom.. But the crimes thy kind have committed against humanity are NOT forgotten.. And thy punishment.. IS DEATH!"
I put that playlist on my background, because there was a lot of homework of mine, and I didn't notice how fast time had passed, but the scariest part was when Order started to play.
who or what are illuminauts? did you just put em in for the sake of putting em in because you like the artist or does this peculiar entity have anything to do with ultrakill
Clair de Lune is my personal therapy song that I play only during full moon while blowing bubbles into the breeze and drink tea after a session. It's very healing.
