Great review. No wasted time on a long channel intro. Stuck to the subject of the video. Spoke clearly. No loud music in the background when you were talking. Overall fantastic review.
I bought this monitor few months ago and I tried to make it vertical and I couldn’t so left it in the box, now i see it how simple it is just because you care about every detail such as rotating the monitor which I didn’t see anyone do it in their videos. Thank you so much
I got the 1080p version and it looks great as a monitor , I just sit back a bit further $209USD at Costco. And gaming is fantastic. And it it certified for G-sync too. 32GN50T
Just thought I'd chime in the comments that I own the 32" LG GN500 also known as GN50T. It's a 1080P variant. Works great on console and 120hz is supported on PS5. Everything on the monitor is excellent. It's a VA panel as well, so great blacks and no backlight bleed with minimal VA glow. Only con is it has the usual black smearing when a light object is moving on a dark background. All VA monitors do this to some degree. Also it looks good on PC if you sit Atleast 3 FT back so you don't see pixels.
Sir, The link you provided redirects to the GK260 model instead of the 260F model. And this model has TN panel not the VA. So viewers might buy the monitor thinking that to be a VA one. Please look into it. And also Do you experience any black smearing and ghosting effect which is common in cheap VA models but not with ips panels? Please reply sir. Thank you
Love the video so much that I went and bought the same monitor. Just one question there is one small D shaped piece that the instructions don’t mention where it goes so I am a little confused any info helps thanks!
@@zillo2x152 honestly it’s the best monitor Ive had I’m really happy with it the images and refresh rate is great and I’ve even hit the screen by mistake a few times and it’s super durable I mainly use it for gaming and school work and the size is in my opinion the best for gaming it’s really immerses you into any world
Thanks for the review..could you please answer me these i have two questions..that is..is this monitor tiltable backwards? And secondly do we need to buy external hdmi cables for it ?? Glad if you can help me out..thanks in advance :)
Welcome.. Yes, it can be tilted front and back little bit. Yes, it comes with only 1 display port cable, if your graphics card doesn't have display port output then you cannot use it, you habe to buy separate HDMI cable .
Great review! I needed a good monitor for office work and movies, not much for gaming. Is there any blur when playing videos? Cause I'd read it has that problem maybe
Love the video!! Mines didn't come with a display port, or at least I couldn't find it. In case I don't find it what displayport is needed for this monitor?
Thank you. Display port and HDMI are two ports which you can use to connect this monitor with PC/other devices. You should have Display port cable with this monitor.
Fyi, If yours screen breaks, LG has currently halted production of this VA panel. Although, they will charge you 14k for screen and give you a new monitor. Please be aware of this.
Thanks for the video ! I believe when we connect through display port it is capable of giving 2k with 144 Hz .What resolutions and FPS it can give through HDMI port ?
Woww thank you. Had this for 2 weeks and it was on the max height because I thought it didn’t go down so I was always looking up but today i jus said there’s no way it doesn’t go down and ended up here, turns out I just had to push a little harder
I watched the video but still kinda confused. So this monitor doesn’t have an optical output/input? I have astro a50s that uses an optical cable and was wondering if this tv came with it or if not I will have to buy an adapter
Great review. How is it for uses other than gaming, for example office work and programming? is text work problematic? Also how much did it cost you, your link shows 36k as of now
Thank you.. It costed me 23k, Its Great for office work too but your Laptop or PC should have 2k support (if its new then it should). At 1080p it will not.look great.
Thanks for this Question & Answer, Keeping my purchased monitor in Box for last 2-Weeks, i couldn't find a Solution for this (Wall mount with Rotations) Any leads will be really helpfull, Tks..
I just wish I could move the V on the stand to point backwards. I'm older and have the monitor closer than most so it gets in the way of my keyboard. Great monitor though. I love mine overall
Can you split in 2 or 3 areas for seeing different things or even better you can resize each area in 2, 3 or 4 parts? Even if you put on vertical? Thanks in advance!
My PC is not built yet. Can you please let me know if I can test this monitor(basic functionality) with my laptop through HDMI? Even if my laptop doesn't have high end specs?
just won't have built in speakers with this monitor but would play any 4k optimized games in a slightly lower 2k resolution, but with much higher framerates. personally I dont pick up the difference in 4k other than contrast and thats with perfect 20/20 vision but no current game is optimized to perform much better than 60FPS stable at 4k. 4k enjoyment comes down to personal perception.
@@twiztedclown True, for better fps 2k is good enough.. This was exactly my thoughts in not getting 4k 😊 for PC as I have GTX 970 GPU. But for Xbox onex and PS5 we should go for 4k..
Bro , that's actually a great video , I have recently bought this monitor but I am not able to play monitor sound , give me suggestion how to enable it, have tried everything but this monitor is not creating any speaker sound.
Thanks for the detailed review. But there are few things which is bothering me to order this. I have R5 3600 paired with GTX 1660ti and 16gb ram. Will it be a good option for me for gaming as well as for watching movies. How will the games and movies perform in 1080p? Right now I am using Dell S2216H (60hz 1080p IPS)
If your graphics card can only support 1080p then games would be ok.. but movies would not look that good. I would suggest you to go with 27 inc monitor with 1080p resolution.
@@TechvirusIndia Thanks for the reply.. so from your valuable advice I have shortlisted these 2 monitors. Can u help me decide which one should I go for which will give me the best result both in games as well as movies. #1 Samsung LC24FG73FQWXXL OR #2 LG 27GL650F
@@TechvirusIndia i am sorry but i dont think you are that knowledgeable. Do you even think before you answer? the gtx1660i is same as the last gen 1070ti or same as the rtx 2070. Its a perfect card for a high refresh rate like 120-144 hz monitor. So you saying to get a 1080p 60 Hz monitor is hopeless. It will bottle neck is display. Plus having a 27 inch display with 1080p display is like having a 6.5 inch phone with 720p screen... you should suggests a nice freesynq monitor with good black level with good contrast. A va or ips panel.
@@gautam4152 brother if you really want to be smart go to " hardware unboxing ". this guy don't do his research well. You need to do the research. And dont get a 1080p monitor.
@@billy2009bdThanks and No offense to anybody but still I can't really find out which one to go for with my msi ventus 1660ti. # Ultra settings + 144hz in 1080p gaming OR # Low/Medium settings + 144hz in 1440p.? I guess the Samsung model will perform well in both games & movies as well.
Great video, bro I have a question, which cable did you use it ? I know the monitor comes with a DisplayPort, I tried to connect it to my laptop, but I had to use an adapter from DisplayPort to usb, but the resolution is not the best and also the interface is much bigger than the laptop, so I want to fix that and have a good size on the interface with a good resolution, thanks in advance!!
You can just use HDMI cable.. you will get good resolution.. Display port should be used if using graphics card from PC or high End laptop.. You need to do some settings in Display to get maximum resolution, by default it will be stuck to 1080p.
I have this monitor in my cart on amazon. Is this a true 1440, it will be my first gaming monitor, I have an rtx 2070 pushed by ryzen 7 2700. I was considering the zowie monitor, but not sure the extra price is justified
Fyi, If yours screen breaks, LG has currently halted production of this VA panel. Although, they will charge you 14k for screen if it is under warranty and give you a new monitor. Please be aware of this.
New Update, they are not even giving a new monitor but they will deduct the cost of screen which is 12,200INR and return you the balance from your invoice. This is valid for India.
Having a problem with my moniter not turning on. I’ve had it for almost a year already. It hasn’t turned on for 3 days and am wondering if you happen to know what is going on or what i should do about jt
Hey man I have the same monitor and I just could not calibrate the display for better colours. I do a lot of gaming and media consumption. Can u tell me ur method for calibration and the values?
Is it worth upgrading from my current monitor... Overwatch 1440p ips 27" 60hz to the lg ultragear 32gk650f (the overwatch has a superb screen but only 60 hz,) my gpu is gtx 1070ti and i have to enable vsync to stop screen tearing.. Cheers
HI wich penal use VA penal & TN penal and i have a intel i 7 6700 & 1060 6 gB grafic card can i buy this monitor ? pls reply thank for best Full Review
Nice review..if they have a curved model with this same specs and similar I would ve bought it right away..cant believe theres so much price gap between 27 to 34 ultrawide models
@@discordmod327 are you using just this or do you have a dual setup? I'm considering either a single 34 inch ultrawide or a dual setup with a 32 inch and 27 inch vertical and am conflicted since both cost the same w similar specs
I am planning to add Amazon Firestick and my PS4 Slim to this. Will it be good? If yes should I buy a Firestick 4K? and how is the movie and content watching experience?
Yes, you can go ahead.. it has 2 HDMI input and it works great with PS 4 and Xbox. Chromecast and Fire Stick both works great.. (it will not give 4k but it will work in 2k mode).
Fyi, If yours screen breaks, LG has currently halted production of this VA panel. Although, they will charge you 14k for screen if under warranty and give you a new monitor. Please be aware of this.
Right now I am using a 55 inch 4K TCL tv with 60HZ for my Xbox series x.. would buying this monitor be an upgrade or good idea? Can someone help me out plz…
No, Display port cable given with this monitor has display port in and out both the side. I belive for Mac book, you will have mini display port and to connect that you would need adaptor.
