It didn't bother me much, only died like once in that room, (standard difficulty), took like 20 tries in the stalker room, in Violent difficulty beating the mindflayer room was HELL, it made me ragequit on my first violent playthrough, then I cheesed the stalker room somehow. @@sqweeeiguessidfkman7999
I honestly like V1's reaction in the video compared to your other elevator jazz remixes that feature V1 in the thumbnail. Pretty much captures the vibe of the sheer difficulty of P-2.
Normally, I loathe remixes. People often go in and add their own flourishes on top, making the overall composition feel very crowded. Initially, when I saw that you were going to make a Tenebre Rosso Sangue remix, i was like "Huh. How are they gonna do that" And you know what, you did it justice. Tenebre is my favorite song and this is a pretty nice remix. Ill probably be coming back to listen to castle vain and this one every so often
I tend to like works that call themselves covers more than I like ones that call themselves remixes, probably because I've heard one too many a Big Shot with an out of key Don't Forget motif crammed in as if it's not just the 2nd chapter out of 7 anyways, and when something is referred to as a cover it usually abides by the original arrangement more- but there are times I really like other people's spins on it, like the first breakdown in this cover

I've heard way too many Big Shot covers/remixes with their own voice that sounds so off Then they try the part they cant make out entirely and they're like "yeah i can make this sound ok just by speaking gibberish or making up my own lyrics but they're clear as day"
Considering I'm an ULTRAKILL player I feel like overcrowding is the least of my worries. Also my music taste might just be bad. Anyway I really like the DuplEx remix tbh
