Right before this absolute test of strength, a text prompt should briefly flash alongside V1's screen saying "HELL IS DEAD. BLOOD HAS RAN DRY. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT." I feel it could fit with the feeling these amazing tracks emit.
If finishing P-1 makes you descend more into Gluttony, and finishing P-2 makes you ascend into Heresy... Is finishing P-3 means getting sent to a completely new level of Treachery?
Minos and Sisyphus both had epic themes and fighted for great purposes this theme feels like the boss fully doomed and have nothing to fight for but he must...
Ultramassacre Part 3: Finale Of Tartar (2022) (P-3 The Forgotten Abyss). 0:29 Dark Cold Abyss. 2:07 Mayhem (Flesh Penitentiary theme battle). 5:00 Redemption (Mundus Prime theme battle).
The gauntlet theme makes me feel like the guardian of this flesh prison doesnt take V1 seriously immediately and sends foes at them with little care, and as a result V1 tears through them easily since it’s nothing compared to P-2’s arenas. So the themes more meant to represent V1 as they effortlessly clear it, before moving into Mayhem with both the guard that wasn’t understanding how dangerous V1 was, now fighting them seriously, along with the flesh prison at the same time. (But that’s just how it felt to me not like that’s what the song actually would mean)
i propose the name "Flesh Penitentiary" for this flesh prison, following the trend of the previous two starting with the letter "P" and also being synonyms of "prison"
My idea was that it would be "Flesh Path", because the Prime Soul being contained in it is too powerful to even attempt containing, and instead is put in the middle of a long path leading to it. I was envisioning the level would fit along with the rest of Layer 9, but then when you get to the boss area it's like a garden of eden, and then as you travel along it further and deeper into the level things start to get more messed up until it's a path made of flesh, then you fight a boss there that would be part of the path (maybe shaped like a tree or something, to represent the garden of eden more) and then boom 3rd prime soul Edit: i wanted to touch upon my reasoning of the 3rd prime soul being too powerful. For Minos, we had to destroy the flesh prison he was trapped inside. For sisyphus, we had to weaken the prison he was in and then he broke out himself. For P-3 boss, I would assume with the trend we were given that he would be powerful enough to break out regardless, so the people making the flesh prisons (presumably the angels) wouldn't have bothered to try to imprison it but instead leave it in the deepest depths of hell to keep it as far from heaven as possible.
I really like the prime soul intro at 5:00, it feels less like a theme to excite the player for the fight to come, and more of a requiem, the theme for the final sparks of life. They aren't dwelling on the past, as Minos lamented the fall of Lust and Sisyphus pledged the destruction of Heaven, but are living in the moment, feeling the full weight of the fight in front of them. Love it!
ULTRAKILL is a perfect engine game by that I mean even if game will be finished custom levels is the thing that will make us comeback every time 'Cause the quality of those levels would be absolutely magnificent from the game play to soundtracks the community will run the game
I like the feeling of finality this theme has, makes it feel like the ultimate send off for the game with a final test of strength. I don’t know who the final prime soul is gonna be but I picture either a battle with Lucifer or Satan in like a dark dramatic room. (Maybe a bit icy too cause I’m pretty sure the last layer of hell is gonna be kinda icy like Dante’s inferno). But it could be cancerous rodent prime for all we know I’m just having fun speculating.
I can’t stop laughing just because I imagined that there would be a “Judas prime” who would just straight up kick your ass with no mercy Betrayal: throws a bag coins at high speeds against your skull Suffering: a scarlet type of rot surrounds the room, only allowing for a narrow escape Repentance: chains of guilt weigh you down and soon enough, you are engulfed by flames Last phase-> final payback: After seemingly defeating the nasty Judas, the room’s walls crumble to dust, unleashing every single demon that you have killed as payback for your actions.
You get to the P door and instead of having to fight a gauntlet and half a prison, the P-3 boss just breaks down the door and you fight them in the previous room before the door
FLESH ASYLUM Theme: MAYHEM Attacks: Spawn: spawns between 4 and 6 spider like eyeballs that act similarly to filth, with fast and powerful melee attacks they have 6 HP (also spawns 2 mini maurices on violent) Spray: shoots a large spray of red projectiles (dimilarly to one of Leviathan's attacks but with more projectiles and a wider spread)(would also be immune to friendly fire to ptevent it from getting instakilled by using an explosive to deflect the projectiles back) Black hole: spawns a faster version of the black holes spawnes by minos' husk and the other flesh prisons Virtue beam: senda out two beams at once (one horizontal and one vertical) to the players predicted location between 2 to 4 times depending on difficulty Heal: same as with flesh prison/panopticon but each eye heals 25% of total health
i feel like we could do without the black hole, honestly. what if it shot out projectiles in random directions that would do a set amount of hard damage?
Intro of REDEMPTION sound like V1 went in the boss' room but prison was already destroyed, and he must find a prime soul in the dark, blocking it's suddent attacks, in the first stage with parrying.
"How long... for what time have I served in this rotting prison.. forced to watch as centuries without sustain fly by with me at the cusp of it all, just out of reach.. No.. not now. Steel beast, I emplore you turn back now.. for you want no part in the splaying of gears and grime across the fields of what once roamed mankind. However, should you refuse, you shall find that a swift, painful death awaits.. you will not get away from me." *"RUN."*
The sheer level of dread those notes in the beginning of redemption. Feels like you just unplugged hell, realizing only in that moment that from that point forward, what ever you do. Imminent destruction is at hand. Amazing stuff homie!
man,i just had an concept for P-3 instead of we fighting an flesh prison,we fight an massive husk(like, the size of earth) the reason is that the angels didn't even tried to create an prison for this prime soul because it was so strong, that every flesh prison would be destroyed when trying to contain him,and upon killing the massive husk, the prime soul would destroy the entire husk (cause it got badly damage from fighting v1)and then the prime souls boss battle would begin
I feel like P-3 should have a total of 4 bosses: First one being Lucifer, and right after his death you will have to fight Judas, Brutus, and Cassius, because In the Comedy they were condemned to being chewd by Lucifer for eternity.
I kinda hope that one of Ultrakill's future superbosses is, like, a primeval version of V1, hinting that it's origins are divine and very sinister. Some kind of inanimate god-made superwarrior made to be an ultimate weapon against whatever needs to be destroyed, whether it be hell if it were to meaningfully resist heaven, or heaven itself if it becomes too corrput. An entity even beings like Gabriel don't know about. Humans somehow encountered this _thing_ or found out about it and were able to recreate it in some way, even if only partially. V1 is this kind of purger, this angel of death, and I think it would be cool if it had a backstory worthy of such a powerful being. You are literally wiping all life from the layers of hell you explore - you are fighting and defeating angels, demons, and prime souls - I feel like that just isn't something some blood-fueled robot could do. Maybe that's what makes it interesting - maybe V1 is just some gopro that happens to be fast and infinitely regenerating, and that's what makes it so dangerous, but it's power seems worthy of gods, and gods are pretty damn strong. They transcend regular fighting prowess.
At the same time though, I feel V1's mundane origins as "just another war machine made by humanity" are already enough to be impactful. The machines killing humanity is a result of humanity's hubris, much in the same way that Hell bursting into (revolutionary) flames and Heaven getting upended is due to God's recognition of his own hubris (and subsequent despair); to have all these divine, super-powerful beings killed by a inanimate object with no desire beyond "F I N D F U E L" just helps to reinforce the core of ULTRAKILL (beyond ULTRAKILLing in a slick manner through Hell) being that the machines don't care about any of the grand designs of the Angels or Hell or anything. They're a form of entropy, consuming just because that's what they've been programmed to do, and everything is going to hell because those in charge (the Council of Heaven) were too blind by their own divinity and arrogance to recognise the threat. Explaining V1's ability to tear shit up by making it special beyond just being fast and healing from blood negates the impact of having something so mundane, so un-divine (and thus unthreatening in the eyes of Heaven and Hell) be capable of destroying everything.
@@nmeister007 I definetly agree partially. I recognize how awesome it is that V1 isn't special at all and how it aligns with ULTRAKILL's identity, but at the same time I want at least some cool origin for this purging machine. While V1 could be yet another war robot that physically isn't all that special, I think it would be cool if the inspiration for it's creation came from something infinitely ancient and extremelly deadly, something which had no special skills apart from "fast" and "blood = life" as well - something that isn't complex, but in that simplicity is also the most dangerous thing in the universe.
"Ah, a mass of electricity, and buzzing lights has come." "Your purpose runs amok, even confusing the most knowledgeable of foes." _"Including I, metallic manglement. Was ambiguous about your nature."_ "Facing you, I can now indulge what I desired to gain intelligence of." *_"Your intentions."_*
now lets wish for steam community support on steam so we can listen to this banger while limit-testing on Cyber Grind fr fr edit: the redemption bit is kinda perfect for a finale to the P levels! i really love this!
I saw a recent message saying p-3 is probably going to be midas, and I've kinda fixated on that being IT, yknow? It'll be fun to see what it actually is, though. Also this song is great.
I want the final layer to be a kind of dusty wasteland. Like how Wrath was mentioned to be very different before the genocide of humanity, and Lust had been changed significantly as well. The previously frozen environment is now scorched, not to the point of Greed, but close.
personally, i feel like P-3 should be against Aegeus or Theseus imagine that Aegeus Prime, imprisoned in the Flesh Penitentiary or perhaps Theseus Prime, imprisoned in the Flesh Detention
Ultrabloody Act 3: Finale Of Hell (2023) (P-3 The Forgotten Heaven soundtrack). 0:29 Dark Dead Abyss. 2:07 Rampage (Flesh Penitentiary theme battle). 5:01 Fallen (Judas Prince theme battle).
Amazing! Who would the prime soul be, here? The title Redemption makes me think of Gabriel, but this is very heavy for a gabe theme. Did you have some other character in mind?
@@radcut7404 If it were the case, REDEMPTION would be a good name considering Prometheus' role of bringing the fire of knowledge to humanity from Olympus and the themes of Minos (ORDER) and Sisyphus (WAR) being based off what they brought to the denizens of their layers. LIGHT or HOPE would also be good alternative names I think.
My concept Irad prime Type: Prime Soul Because of his terrible act, which consisted in the fact that this man killed many innocent babies in an attempt to maintain power in his hands and kill the son of God, Irad deserved special punishment. All the souls he had ruined were enclosed in his body, driving Irad crazy with incessant crying and attempts to talk to at least someone. When the god left, and chaos came in heaven, Irad realized that this was probably the only way to get rid of the curse. He began to prepare for war, promising freedom to his people. However, this war was not doomed to failure: On the layer of violence, there were many experienced warriors and commanders who can teach their skills to others, which will make the army able to resist the angels. When the heavenly army invaded Irad's layer, it met with much more serious resistance than at the layer of greed. It also failed to eliminate Irad: He received the best training, equipment, and security possible. Even in spite of his madness, he was literally a man - an army. After a very long time and a whole sea of spilled angelic and sinful blood, the battle ended with the victory of the angels and the escape of Irad in an unknown direction. Adviсe: +In life, Irad was a heartless beast, which was reflected in the appearance of his soul. You won't get blood from him. Parry is the only way to restore health. Don't skip it. +As a master of hell energy manipulation, Irad is capable of more than throwing orbs. For example, I can edit text on all terminals. Go fight, I won't let you know my secrets so easily player :).
The Name "REDEMPTION" sounds like a Lucifer Track name [(since lucifer was cast into hell by God unfairly in the Lore of Ultrakill, so Lucifer is redeeming himself and showing to God that he does have good inside him)OR its the other way around where God is trying to achieve REDEMPTION by Fighting V1 and stopping hells clearance]
My prime soul ideas: -Prometheus Prime, the spark of hubris -Lucifer Prime, the fallen king -Judas Prime, traitor king -Jesus Prime, king of kings -Oedipus Prime, king of fate -Heracles Prime, King of Might -Tantalus Prime, King of Hunger -Kronos Prime, King of Fear -Gaia Prime, Queen of Life -Achilles Prime, King of Grief -Odysseus Prime, the indomitable human spirit
May I also add: Adam, King of Man + Eve, Queen of Man Cain, King of Violence Ixion, King of Murder Ulysses/Odysseus, King of Fraud. Edit: I didn't notice you already had Odysseus my bad Nimrod, King of Defiance
I like it but the final movement feels a bit out of place with how heavy the high hats are and how fast it moves, for the most part the prime souls tend to have a more regal emphasis to them, almost symphonic in attitude
fans are doing a lot of stuff to make jesus prime as the P3 candidate, we alr have a fan made song of jesus prime and the comments alr made lore of the situation and lines + 1 of the comments was the line before the prime fight and it was literally the same style written as sisyphus and minos but there is no thy or anything like that just the edgy stuff
Ngl the only difference in p-2 was the gauntlet and the fact sisyphus breaks out of the flesh pano. Kinda dissapointed me cuz i think fighting the flesh panopticon would have been fun.
@@DYNAMANE also the person within the concepts called it "forgotten son" and comments made concept of god betraying Jesus and I think flesh cross will have Jesus tied to it (the song is called LOVE ultrakill P3 concept song)
@@DYNAMANE Jesus did go to Hell after his crucifixion, although why is never stated. Some say that he was proclaiming his victory over sin and evil, and allowing those who could not make it to Heaven solely because of original sin to get there. Others believe that he took on an entire eternity's worth of suffering in 3 days to absolve mankind of original sin. At least from memory those are the two main reasons.
Minos and Sisyphus had more valiant and bombastic themes. The intro, especially, highlights a more sinister approach. No more good. No more inbetweens. It's all pure evil now.
@@infamoussoapconsumer3870 In actuality, order and war's actual songs last around 3-4 minutes, and they loop once after the leitmotif parts. I could have done the same and the songs would be equally as long.
I'm hoping that we still fight the P-3 flesh prison, but before the prime soul that escapes can finish their first sentence, another prime soul comes and obliterates them in one hit.
@@DYNAMANE I see, I always thought OST is "original soundtrack". Your music is original so calling it an original soundtrack would make sense. But you're right that this is unofficial. Btw I like your music!
It really isn't. The calamity ost takes far more influences from symphonic works and ultrakill's ost is far more focused on percussion (for the most part) and this work is deeply entrenched in the usage of rapid high hats and deeper bass, something which dokuro didn't use in such a manner, most of his usage of high hats is to cap a measure (for lack of a better term) see the devourer of gods theme where every crescendo ends with high hats
V3: KILLSWITCH In a last ditch effort to combat the machines destroying mankind, scientists developed KILLSWITCH, a warmachine programmed with one objective: kill its kin at any cost. Instead of being fueled by blood, it uses a soul bound to its engine as a power source. When V1 busts into the chamber holding the final Prime soul, they find the Flesh Prison shattered and the radiant energy of the Prime soul being consumed by KILLSWITCH, the soul having already resigned itself to oblivion in defeat. Churning with this new soul, the fight against KILLSWITCH PRIME begins. Fighting KILLSWITCH PRIME differs from any other enemy in the game; instead of trying to defeat it, you have to survive until it can no longer contain the soul and it is destroyed. When the soul emerges and realises what has happened, only then do they step out of their despair and fight you.
