Ultrakill's weapons are so well designed that even in a speedrun, home of the Most Efficient Tactics Available, they all have at least a niche use. Hat's off.
My absolute favorite part is at 14:40 when you get triple gun. Then 14:52 when you fly a hundred feet in the air then juggle coins, laser guns, and shotguns- come back down abliterating the birth of whatever stood there. It's moments like this where even though it doesn't make any sense you feel like such a badass it doesn't even matter
20:14 Massive time save: You can skip the skulls in this level by going into this room, turning right immediately, hugging the corner of the room, slamjumping, and continuing to hug the corner. You'll go out of bounds. After this, use your fast movement of choice to go to the outside of where the "3 skull entrance" would be, and go onto the outside area of the pipe that leads there. You'll barely be able to poke a checkpoint thats slightly visible, reset to checkpoint, and skip all skulls.
Good lord. Just imagine you're the devil sitting on his throne, and then you just hear a faint "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" growing louder and louder as V1 makes his way down to the deepest layer of Hell in under an hour
Happened to me once by accident, clipped through some geometry and fell out of the level, the dev put a "whoops sorry about that" message and teleports you back.
Ну, не совсем. В ране куча ошибок, плюсом, я не использовал скипы и прочие приколы на 5-6 кругу, по причине того, что я их еще не видел к тому моменту. Мне б отточить первый акт и научиться приколу на 4-2, чтобы он был стабилен, а также, все аут оф баундсы и прочие приколюхи на 5-6 кругу. И надо еще глянуть, вдруг какие приколы на старых уровнях с ракетой появились.
instead of a timer, i used the time counting at the end of the level. then i counted it with excel (the file is attached in the official discord server in the channel about speedruns) ну и да, я русский. 🙂
