Sheer Heart Attack has a secret level in it. You get it by breaking the water control panels, one is in the room with the waterfall and the thing behind it, its under the bridge you stand on. The second is in the big room with the crushers, in a top corner near the entrance, and the third one is behind the stairs in the red pedestal room (you found that one). After breaking all three, go back to the room with the thing behind the waterfall and you can go in there now for the secret level. Have fun with it :3

The MOST IMPORTANT thing about the final encounter of this layer, without spoilers: Imagine the coolest thing imaginable once you see what the fight looks like, then do it. You'll know what it is as soon as you'll think aboit it.

Honestly the most useful mechanic of slam storage isn’t even the vertical component. If you do one of those slide jumps (sliding and then immediately jumping) *right* after you land, all of that speed becomes horizontal and you can zoom. You can maintain this momentum by chaining slide jumps. Also if you shoot the shotgun bomb with the red railgun, it creates the biggest player-made explosion possible, which both does a bunch of damage and can be used as a movement tech if you can spare the hp. ps. sorry for blabbering

Just want to give you a quick heads-up before RU-vid mutes half the video and takes all your ad revenue that when you play the cybergrind two of the 4 default songs that can play is copyrighted, Heath - Hateful and Heath - Hateful (Instrumental). You can disable these by clicking on them and clicking the trash can button next to them. Also, you can select songs from the levels throughout the game to play in the Cybergrind if you completed the challenges for them as an alternative to The Cybergrind if you ever feel bored.

You can’t parry Maurice’s explosive shots, but you can parry him right after he finishes charging but before he shoots the explosive provided it’s a punch right on his stone noggin. The coin strat still works to parry, but it’s a lot harder to pull off.

If you slide jump instead of jumping regularly after a slam storage the momentum will be converted to horizontal momentum

Hey Yub, some "small" tips: Enemies tend to make a yellow flash before doing a parriable attack, and blue is unparriable. Try to look for the yellow flash because it tends to show when you can parry. Maurice's face laser can be parried by punching it's face right before it fires, but it (as well as several other melee distance parries) can be parried by shooting it point blank with a shotgun. The knuckleblaster can't parry, but the shockwave can alter projectile directions. Other people have probably said this already, but slam storage is activated by doing a wall jump in the slam state. The secret in lust you can't reach requires an explosion, like a fully charged pump shotgun shot, but in a recent teaser of the redone lust, it is shown that a crane will be added to access the secret. You should read the terminal entries for the enemies if you haven't already, as it provides some lore and fight strategies. When shot with the revolver with correct timing, the coin can split in two, but if you use the SLAB it doesn't split, but instead does some piercing thing to a single enemy if I remember correctly. You can switch to the red or blue SLAB to get the other coin effect. The blue railcannon has infinite pierce, and if you throw a coin behind an enemy, shoot the railcannon, and hit the coin, it will bounce and hit the enemy again. This can be done with several coins. Since I don't have any way to access your brain (yet) I don't know which if these you already know, but I hope at least one helps.

TIP: you can check enemies in the terminal. their lore, behaviour and weaknesses. and also, you can change gun colors with enough soul orbs Actually usefull tip: the electric railcanon and electric nailgun hurt you in water, but it also hurts underwater enemies a lot

Yub, the mindflayer (the new enemy in 2-3) is basically… I don’t know how to explain it. Remember that terminal that has the enemies, weapons, shop, and stuff? Go to the enemies. And tap on an enemy and you’ll get info. (Also the mindflayer is basically the character that a lot of people simp for.)

Even though it didn’t give a flash, all projectiles are parryable, including the mindflayer’s (blue floating thing). However, some attacks such as the malicious face’s beam, cannot be parried directly, but can be parried via other means, such as chargebacks or, in the case of malicious faces, punching them as the flash happens. (Also, love your content, keep it up!)

Yubs skill has progressed immensely throughout the past few videos already and hes only just started layer 2 😭😭

Something that's neat, is that where you choose/ buy guns, there's lore for every enemy you have fought, and in lore reasons for why a bunch of the things happen. And like the prelude secret level, the enemy "Something wicked this way comes"(yes, that's it's actual name in game name), you can see an image of it, and like a biography of it. And in the terminal too(the terminals are sentient and they give you points for doing things, which is how you get the points in the first place), you can change weapons colors depending on how many soul orbs you have 👍 also with slam storage, instead of jumping, you can hold the slide button and change your vertical momentum to horizontal momentum

YuB You can actually punch coins to chain damage and shoot the coins after with any hitscan weapon and even the sharpshooter alt fite of both varieties, try to use this consistently and use the sandbox as an aim trainer for smaller or floating enemies.

Hey yub. The most important tip for this game is: You shouldn't feel obligated to play in a way you dont like. If your own push to experiment and will to play "better" finds you at that "better gameplay" then great! But this game never forces you to beat combat by playing a specific type of way. ANY type of gameplay that gets you at that desired result is perfectly valid. Also I want to make it clear that if this game challenges you too much; or too little. Dont be afraid to play at a higher or lower difficulty if you want to play at a different level of challenge. Secrets, too are cool. Crazy relevation, but ive seen multiple people saying exactly where it is, which in my opinion is no fun. Do experiment with everything you think might work and if you truly are lost. Then search for a guide or hint or whatever. I think the most people love this game; love it because the game is so accepting of everyones styles of play and doesnt push you to travel the path of least resistance. So if anyone sees this. Let him play and consider would you have like if someone told you about something instead of you finding it on your own. Its deeply saddening to see how many people quit the game due to the sheer amount of people that push their own playstyle on to the other player. This game is a piece of art, dont force anyone to interpret it your way. The thing other people tell you is that you can do anything in ultrakill and it probably works, but at the same time the people are completely forgetting that if you tell people that these are the "best" and that the person is "wrong" for playing like they themselves want to play. You yourself are closing off the true wonder of the game. So thats my tip yub. Hope it helps!

-The sharpshooter can destroy projectiles. if you shoot maurice's projectiles at the right time (you want to try and shoot the first or second one) it will explode in his face, instakilling or fatally wounding him -if you play a level you've already completed, you can double press tab to show stats -using an electric weapon in water, much like real life, will do a lot of damage to every enemy in the water -for the next boss, if an attack looks parryable, it 90% of the time is

sure the game and the way you play it is subjective but unironically this is the BEST way to play it actually finding new strategies, secrets, and movement tech by reading the comments and actually looking around to find new stuff rather than cluelessly running through linear paths, genuinely, congratulations, youre playing so well for a new player

Woah! It's so sick to see you playing one of my favorite games Yub! :] Here's some little tips for where you are in the game, 1. You are able to create a HUGE explosion if you hit a shotgun explosive with the railcannon. They're usually called 'Nukes" by the community, and they are great for killing large clusters of enemies in one go. You can get a better effect with this strategy if you use the 'Malicious Railcannon' (The red variant), which can be purchased in the shop with points! 2. I really suggest buying the 'Screwdriver' variant of the railcannon (The Green variant). It's super good for collecting lots of points, and doing lots of damage to larger enemies due to the way it will continuously deal damage to them over a time span of around 7-8 seconds. Also, it feels super cool to use. 3. Lastly, you're able to access a small in-game menu by pressing tab, which will show you the amount of time you have on a level, your amount of 'Style Points', how many enemies you've killed, and how many secrets you've found! (The secrets are represented by the boxes, if empty, it's yet to be found, if full, found.) I'm unsure if you we're aware of this, but I saw you were wondering if you had found all the secrets at the end of the video, so I thought I'd point it out. 👍 Again, it's super cool to see someone I've watched for a long time play a game that I truly hold close to my heart, I hope you have lots of fun as you continue, and that these tips can help you out along the way!

Yo yub, if you didn’t know, theres something called “p-rank” earn S on kills s on time, S on style. You need to complete the challenge aswell, and without any retries which means no dying. I’m not saying to get it now, p ranks are more of an end game thing, so take your time to learn the techs. Also guys I’m sorry I got it wrong, I’m not very much of a ultrakill player

Hey Yub, Ultrakill guy here, a simple but effective way to kill enemies (cooly) is by tossing a coin behind and in front of a strong enemy, then using the railgun to pierce the 1st coin (which goes through the enemy and hits the 2nd) and piercing the enemy with the normal railgun shot at the same time, basically multiplying the railgun's base damage by tons.

I just got into Ultrakill last month (thanks to Pressure of all things) and started playing it recently, so this video being recommended to me came at a good time. It's fun to see someone who is also new to Ultrakill play it and have fun. ^^

1) You can shoot coins with railcannon and it targets 2) You can punch coins if you walk backwards when you throw them 3) You can parry the drones when they fly at you after killing them 4) You can pretty quickly kill maurice if you use a two pumped shotgun, hit him with knuckblaster, and then slam on him 5) firing railcannon in water deals 50 damage to you, but it's great for crowds 6) Shotgun swapping works well with projectile boosting 7) Even if it doesn't have a flash, you can usually parry (like the mindflayer projectiles(the mindflayer is the blue flying thing)) Love the videos ❤️

Fan fact (maybe you knew already and i just forgot): each creature/character you fight has a lore script at the terminal at the beginning of each level

A really cool move you can do with slam storage is the Ultradive. Diving is a move where you press slide immediately after jumping, causing you to slide while in the air (indicated by the slide particles.) When combined with slam storage, it turns your momentum into both vertical and horizontal momentum, causing you to fly across large areas, which can be really useful in situations like getting that red soul orb in 2-1. Your playthrough of ULTRAKILL is probably one of the most entertaining to watch, thank you so much for continuing it!

that "+INTERRUPTION" thing (enemies randomly explode) happens when you shoot an enemy's projectile with a hitscan weapon while it's charging (strays and soldiers only) and is an instakill for them. soldiers (the guys that shoot four shots) are also reaistant to most explosions.

YuB is actually really good for someone who has only just started. Good job man! 👍

just thought id share a cool trick I know from ultrakill, basically if you throw a coin somewhat behind an enemy, and then throw another coin in front of the enemy, you can shoot the railgun through the enemy into the coin behind the enemy, the railgun will then ricochet off the coin, hit the enemy a second time, then ricochet to the third coin, and hit the enemy a third time, its definitely easier on larger enemies, however this can be used to do a ton of damage especially to bosses there are some other tactics known as "coin adding" where you quickly swap to the marksman revolver while the game is slowed down (it wont show you actually swapping, but if you swap to it, and right click even though the animation doesn't play, the coins will still be thrown, allowing for more ricochets to be done) Another combo is shooting the core ejected grenade from the first shotgun variant, with the electric railgun, which will create a massive AOE attack of course, a simpler trick is just to throw a coin behind an enemy and try to hit it with the railgun, note that this only works on the electric variant since it pierces. For doing these tricks, I do suggest having marksman revolver on one (you can change the order weapons come out, so when you equip your revolver, you can have it set to always equip the marksman revolver on first, which makes it way easier for combo's and is basically needed for coin adding) Hope this helps in some way, this isn't needed whatsoever but is a great way to gain style and just do a ton of damage, you can also just simply shoot coins with the railgun and still do a lot of damage.

A couple things 1. The new blue enemy is the "Mindflayer", and it's hot. You can still parry it's projectiles, them being blue indicates that they are homing attacks. It's other attack is a laser beam, which you can charge-back similar to the Maurice bomb 2. Getting all 3 water control boxes in 2-3 allows you to go behind the waterfall you wanted to but couldn't 3. The railgun has 3 variations: The Red and Blue ones can be bounced off coins, and the green one makes bosses significantly easier 4. You can shoot Cores with the red railcanon for an extra spicy meatball 5. You have improved in skill faster than any other youtuber I have seen blind react this game, please do more 6. The magnets from the blue nailgun can make the blue railgun trigger conducter, doing more killing

When you aren't recording, I recommend reading the enemy entries in the terminal, it might help you find weaknesses of enemies and learn some lore.

in 2-3, if you find and break all of the water control boxes the water in said level will drain, allowing you to get past the water fall in the first waterfall room (trust me theres a fire secret level there)

The real power of the red nailgun makes it OP. When you successfully electrocute an enemy with it, make sure you have magnets on multiple enemies; the high-damage lightning will bounce between the magnets and hit them all! Bonus damage if they've each been hit with nails.

Remember you can parry anything if it doesn't have a blue flash and if it has a yellow flash you need to hit them for an interruption rather than hitting the projectiles

Just think about this game like: "Can I do [Insert anything]?" And the answer will probably be YES (Even if it's parrying your own pellets, and yes that's a thing.)

Not a gameplay tip, but it makes the experience more enjoyable. In the shop, you can customize your weapons skins and unlocking more soul orbs will unlock more skins for each weapon. (You can also make a custom skin for 1000000 P)

Tips: 1. The Pump Charge shotgun when overpumped is a good way way of travel, simply overpump it and face the opposite way of where you want to go and you'll go fast to your location. 2. Ultrakill is about experiencing and trying new techniques, try to combine alternate fires with other alternate or primary fires. 3. If you groundslam on maurice's face when he's dead, he'll explode. 4. The soldiers (Dudes with the shotguns) can block/parry your explosions, which makes them immune to explosions. Though if they are in the air they can't block it. 5. When at the terminal, you can go to your weapons and depending on how many secrets you have collected, you can change the colors of your weapon, and can even make your own custom colors. (Though the custom ones cost 1 million points each..) 6. The conductor nailgun (red) is an amazing weapon for passive damage, and paired with the overheat nailgun (green) can easily deal mass amounts of damage to big targets, though you do have to stay close in order for the conductor to be attached. 7. If you're wanting to redo any levels, you can press & hold tab on levels already completed to show the time, style, kills, secrets, and challenge completion. Double tapping tab will make it stay on your screen. 8. You will get a style multiplier of up to 3X if you're in the air or sliding. 9. Make sure you're reading the tip of the day at the start of the each level at the terminal 10. Have fun!

Now that you know basic slam storage, that could help with these next tips: -Press TAB for a moment (it takes practice) to see the level stats. -If you Beat all the enemies, get enough style, and reach the end of the leveI in time, you can get a P-Rank!

I think this may have been mentioned by someone else as well, but if you slide RIGHT AFTER you jump, you can dive and it saves your momentum, and if you dive with slam storage, you get horizontal and vertical momentum and go absolutely flying. it's ebic

tip for using coins: look directly up at the ceiling when flicking the coin in the air. this will give you a garuntee ricoshot (term for shooting a coin) as long as you stay in the same state as you were when you flicked the coin ex: if you flick the coin while standing still, stay standing still to shoot it. if you flick the coin while moving in a straight line, stay moving in the straight line to shoot it.

16:57 dont use the railcanon on weaker enemies. coins or a charged up shot will suffice. also coins can be used with the rail canon. keep up the great content, we all love it :)

Heads up: Yellow flashes aren't for every single parriable attack, only melee ones. If an enemy shoots a parriable projectile it won't make the flash, but if they try to hit you with a mele attack that can be parried, there most likely will. Blue flashes go for both unparriable projectiles and unparriable melee moves.

16:18 you can also hit the coins with this weapon, if you throw various coins upwards and switch fast enough to shoot with the railcannon something cool happens.

Hey Yub, just wanted to say Im loving the ultrakill series! Hopefully you aren't sometimes overwhelmed with people telling you how to do all these specific combos and movement strats, as I think its more fun to just experiment with your own skillset and learn new things, but thats just me! the game only gets better each layer you go further down, so please dont give up on this game!

Guys, this is huge, he can finally railcoin. Railcoining is shooting a railgun into a coin instead of a revolver, it boosts damage by +12,5% per coin it hits (so two coins is +25% to damage etc), behaves the same way hitting a coin with revolver does. It's also really cool and with good coin placement it lets you potentially multi hit an enemy with the railgun, which means instant kill on pretty much anything besides bosses and minibosses (but requires a bit of a set up). Mostly you just throw a coin in the air and shoot it, it's still a good damage boost, not to mention guaranteed auto aiming into an enemy so you don't miss

Lil set of tips my dude Main one is at the end so feel free to skip all these if u wanna get straight to the point If the enemy fires the skull-projectiles/basic projectiles, then it can be parried. If theres ANY blue flash at all, the enemy's current attack cannot be parried. Theres two types of parriable flashes, the basic and the melee. Basic is your standard parry, which can be parried at any time within the enemy's attack window. (the Swordsmachine gives plenty of them, so you can use that as an example) Melee parry can only be performed up close, like when a maurice fires its spicy meatball laser. You can also parry some things that dont flash at all, like the husks (lil piranha looking mfs) right before they attack, even though theres no flash at all. The main point is, unless there's explicitly a blue flash before ANY attack then that attack can be parried in some way, shape or form. Good luck and happy ultrakilling ❤
