I wasn't out to make something to withstand high winds since a wood fire in high winds is a bad idea regardless of your windscreen. For the amount of wind, which I feel is still safe (to have a wood fire) the Carbon Felt Wind Block works great and if you add the flame guard on the other side it works even better. (Fire safety is the responsibility of the person lighting the fire).

I have never seen anyone demonstrate this cooking system better than you have done in your videos. This is a much more versatile and powerful tool than I had realized...at least for warm weather or protected cooking.

Well Steve the Firebox Nano is about perfect and this case is really a nice accessory. I'll be keeping an eye out for Kickstarter I can imagine it's not cheap to get production going. You never stop with the great products keep them coming!

I do. It's 7.5" in diameter which means it's a little bigger than the bottom of the small pie plate. I fill that space with paper towels. The large pie plate is 9" so there is more than enough room for it. Everything still nests well.

The Trangia 27 and 25 multi-disks work well in my pie plates. 7" and 8.5". Very light weight and less expensive.

Goregrind yes, the 10in frying pan works great on the Nano since the Nano has an expandable pot stand bigger than 4 and 1/2 inches!

For a cutting board, try the Trangia 27 (7") and 25 (8.25") multi-disks. They nest in the bottom of the pie plates and frying pans, and won't scratch the non-stick surface.
