This episode really brings back the theme from Gaia. Human vs Nature, right or wrong, justified or not. It all questions how we perceive things from another point of view and becoming empathetic towards the other
We also saw something like that too in Decker with how the Kaiju feared the Sphere, and tried to destroy the Terraphaser due to their sensing Agams used Sphere to power it. And even Ultraman X had something similar with how Daichi hopes a day can come when humans and Kaiju can co-exist in peace, like he wanted with the Spark Doll of Gomora. It is nice to see themes like this popping up in Ultraman, considering it can't be easy when it comes to the presence of Kaiju on Earth, even as they are connected to nature like we are, and how humanity would protect themselves against Kaiju if need be.
This series is a commercial work. Therefore, it is necessary to demonstrate evaluation through action. If official new kaiju merchandise is available in your country, you should buy it. If the official new kaiju merchandise didn't sell well, Tsuburaya would conclude that it wasn't appreciated by the fans.
Today I received the Nijikagachi and Earth Garon toys I ordered (Ultra kaiju Advanced Nijikagachi & Earth Garon Mod.2 units). Nijikagachi's doll has a gimmick that opens and closes the armor that covers the face, just like in the play. I installed his Mod.2 unit on the Earth Garon that I had already purchased. About a week earlier than the TV broadcast, Earth Garon Mod.2 was completed.
Tsuburaya is responsible for me having heatstroke by showing all these super hot fire episodes each week! I love all of them! The pace and writings are phenomenal, no, out of this world! I love how Blazar decided to disappear himself before being obliterated by the blast. Smart move usually not shown by other Ultras. Usually the others just simply stand there and take it. But not Blazar, he knows that dying isn't part of the plan. I also love the continuity, such as Yasu's tendency of overworking and his body being a sight to see.
all of us probably didnt expect for blazar to retreat like that since hes showing some unga bunga fighting style xD, but the more episode the come, the more the show become better and better, out of new gen ultra, i think blazar take the number 1 spot, everything is perfect.
@@DZonAv If he's truly a tribal hunter, then it makes more sense that for him staying alive is more important than anything else. In the past the Ultras always make it seems that running away is cowardly and code of honor and all that.
@@JennyAnimations yeah, that make sense, but the way blazar make a quick decision in that single moment is just very very new to us since probably most of ultra gonna take that beam and just make a drama for a comeback.
I love how Gento didn't go, "No you're wrong,..." Then continue with Naruto's speech no jutsu. Instead he straightly said, "I'm bringing you in." Like an actual pro.
0:14 hot day , eat ice cream 1:26 did not pay attention to the road even fell 2:06 this is not an ordinary bracelet , pain 6:14 rainbow is back again 10:44 there appeared underground 11:04 never seen kaiju , face like kaiju pedoleon ,body gorothunder , the skin kaiju mudon and alien deathre 12:24 her body is too hard 12:44 what is he doing 13:04 create a storm 15:44 kaiju pictures are not alike 19:30 why did he do that 20:58 the storm is getting bigger 22:22 kinda hard to beat him 22:58 open face , obey weapons earth garon does not work 23:32 earth garon lost 24:18 time to change 25:52 both attacks are very strong 26:26 blazar run away from attack , and still not strong enough 26:48 how to beat him
I put my trust on the English dubbing team as I enjoy the show every week, and let me tell you, this week they have really knocked out of the park. Not just the story, the characters, the fights, the music, and the morals (who's in the good? the humans or the kaiju?) the voice direction really makes the whole episode seem seamless. You can definitely feel just how grave the morality of the situation, especially in the conversation between Gento and the professor. Good stuff this ep around, looking forward to part 2. :))
This episode really shows that Blazar's spear is truly capable of rivaling a beam attack, proving that he doesn't even need a beam attack to match the other Ultras. Also, Nijika Ijichi looked a lot different than I remembered. Did our Dorito Girl expose herself to radioactive rainbows? Ok jokes aside, Nijikagachi really felt like a Kaiju that I would see in Ultraman Gaia, due to how it's related to manipulating nature itself. In fact, this Kaiju lines up perfectly with the "Nature Control Machines" from the Gaia series. One that cleanses the air, one that prevents ice age, one that revives Earth's forest, and one that prevents global warming. Now I'm eager to see what other kinds of nature-controlling Kaiju would do next.
Wait, who is Dorito girl you've mentioned? Also i recall there was only three nature control machines, Tenkai cleanse the air, Enzan prevent the ice age, and Shinryoku revive the forest on earth, who's the last that prevent the global warming?
@@rezafahlevi9659 Watch the Bocchi The Rock! anime, or read the manga. Also, I didn't say there were 3 machines. The forth one I mentioned was Nijikagachi himself, who literally did exactly what I said as seen in the episode. I mentioned that he perfectly lines up with the 3 Nature Control Machines, and he could be counted as the "forth" nature control being.
i really love this episode! the story, the visual, the acting, very stunning! Tsuburaya always manages to make low budget series look as stunning as big budget series
This episode reminds me of something from Gaia, about how humans are the real monsters and hurt the Kaiju. Nijikagachi having that mask that splits apart is such a cool detail
I wonder if nijikagachi inspiration comes from the rainbow serpent from the aboriginal story. Since it does make sense if somehow some people think of nijikagachi itself as a God and nature itself. Source: Wikipedia. The serpent is viewed as a giver of life through its association with water, but can be a destructive force if angry. The sometimes unpredictable Rainbow Serpent (in contrast to the unyielding sun) replenishes the stores of water, forming gullies and deep channels as the Rainbow Serpent slithers across the landscape.[53] In this belief system, without the Serpent, no rain would fall and the Earth would dry up.[4] In other cultures, the serpent stops rainfall: the Numereji serpent's iwaiyu (its soul or shadow) cast upon the sky becomes the rainbow, and the serpent ascends to stop the rain,[35] the Andrénjinyi is said to halt the rain caused by enemies.[32]
i feel like this isnt just another "humans bad" episode. While humans have done bad things, Nijikagachi only became active due to the professor's hatred for humanity. I think that it gives blessings from prayers while it gives disasters to the corrupt hearts like the professor currently has
@@Tippy555oh yeah you're right. If the Prof still has faith and love for humanity, Nijikagachi would've just blessed them with rain instead of destroying stuff.
@@29_firdausayanuar88 Not the first time TsuPro took any of legend/myth inspiration to their series, so Nijikagachi being inspired from Rainbow Serpent isn't surprising But that make me wonder, since the professor said that there were many of them back then and Nijikagachi said has many name, it make me think that Nijikagachi didn't just appeared in Japan but rather across the world, and it stumbled upon Australia continent many milleniums ago, and it's presence inspired the tribes there hence the myth of rainbow serpent That's really amazing if you think of
All episodes have been good so far, but this one has been the most epic yet, love the strategic retreat at the end, Blazar truly acts and feels differently from other Ultras, Ive seen how the Kaiju being part of nature is a recurring theme since episode two and the mountain kaiju, and how humans disrecpecting nature is what causes most troubles since mother nauture can strike back.
Rejoice, everyone! The new Ultra work soundtrack will be available on major download and streaming sites in Japan from August 30th, Japan time. The soundtracks of "Ultraman Z", "Ultraman Trigger", "Ultraman Decker" and "Ultraman Legros" are complete versions with all tracks. The soundtrack of "Ultraman Blazer" contains a total of 51 tracks. Regarding the distribution of ultra works, what is successful in Japan will be expanded overseas. We all hope so.
Some thoughts: Before we begin, I just want to say I love the sound design in this ep, the scenes where the rain keeps falling in the background feel like SSSS Gridman in the best way, and Nijikagachi's Death Rainbow makes such a satisfying sound when he fires it 5:44 my man Yasunobu showing off his muscles for two weeks straight Professor Yokomine feels a lot like the mad scientist from the Jirass episode, and even looks like him once he brushes his hair back. I also love the foreshadowing at 9:17 that the thunder only starts when the camera focuses on him as a kid, suggesting he always had evil within his heart 11:32 love how the sound of distant thunder seamlessly transitions to the sounds of Earth Garon's missiles hitting Nijikagachi Nijikagachi is such a badass kaiju, he's way cooler than I imagined him to be. He takes all the best traits of the Earth kaiju and the Weather Control Machines from Gaia, and adds a unique spin by throwing a bit of Jirass/Neosaurus in. Love how they still try to explain his weather-controlling powers by saying he sucks in air to create localised low-pressure areas That shot at 13:44 looks great 16:45 and there it is, the central conflict every Ultraman show must struggle with. I love how Gento starts off with the conclusion Ultraman Gaia reached, only for Yokomine to immediately shoot it down. Super excited how they'll resolve this conflict of ideas *_SEVEN_* typhoons? I know this was shown in the op visuals as well, but that's still insane It's cool how Nijikagachi seems to be connected to Yokomine in some way, as the kaiju's head armour opens when Yokomine brushes his hair back and loses his glasses. It almost seems like a deliberate choice to have Yokomine wear those bracelets on his left arm, much like how Gento wears the Blazar Brace on his left arm Next week is gonna be great, can't wait to see how things go down
