If it's a clone then it's not really Ultra Man. Ultra Man has an entirely different story.

Its just so bizarre to me. Of course I would like to see Ultraman at some point, but I feel like there are lots of villains that could easily carry a film: Parasite Lobo(?) Metallo Mongul Brainiac Livewire Manchester Black+The Elite Silver Banshee Toyman Ultra-Humanite Now some of these could be secondary villains, and some could arguably be Justice League level threats. Still, there is more than just Zod(or superman clones) and Lex Luthor, who's character is more complicated then a simple villain.

They could turn him into Bizzaro🤷🏿‍♂️.

In the Superman cartoon from the 90's, the clone of Superman ended up becoming Bizzaro because the clone messed up. The movie might go that route also.

And now I have lost faith in this project. Superman like batman and Spider-man. Is blessed with deep and great rogues gallery. Let me get this right. We can't bring Metallo, Mogul, bloodsport, atomic skull, silver banshee, Manchester black, Mister Mxyzptlk and my personal favorite that would go great for 1st flim in parasite! Instead we are back with doing these superman-like villians such as zod/ultraman. I don't understand this... Why can't we bring the threat of brainiac? No way this is legit. Ultraman has a backstory that would be way to convoluted for a 1st movie. Plus without the justice league it makes very little sense

Why would they do that and not stick with him being of earth 3 if they were going with a clone why not go with like Burtall and have a neat way to brng in darksied in and up coming sequal or even just go with Bizzaro.

A real swerve would be if they kept Cavil and brought Cornswett in as a younger version Ala a clone. This would be a great swerve on all the fans.
