Ultraman did not die by Mazahs. Just got defeated/overpowered, and then tricked into powerlessness. He dies by Anti-monitor, when he faced him with God Of Strength Superman together. Also, Injustice is one of the best DC stories by far, and it is a canon elseworld event. It being present here and there is a great thing.

Agreed. Besides, that is the whole point of Injustice: Superman is not inherently bad, but got pushed to being so by some horrific circumstances. If that catalyst did not happen, he would still be normal, cheery Superman. But he just lost too much, faced too many friends opposing and abandoning him, instead of helping him etc.

Positive side. For better or worse, injustice Superman portrayed and delivered a very interesting moral message and characterization. Also, Injustice story has stakes, unlikes “back to square one” problem most of DC comics have. It is for the best.

must be a pink sun over there or something. but jokes aside i think the only reason they made his sexuality what it was was a part of this overarching affirmative action deal that every form of media has that's causing them to write LGB characters in the name of inclusivity but it just doesn't do it for me. Like by all means we have a black spiderman let there be a gay Supe but i just wish they would write an original story about that kind of thing instead of retconning characters we already know and stuff just so they won't be slammed with accusations of being phobic or non-inclusive it just all feels so ingenuine. Not that it matters or defines him but the same way other supermens relationship with Lois is a part of them this can kinda take the same route, so i wouldn't exactly say he's the same especially if his motivations have been changed.
