Always love seeing sisters and salamanders! Both the armies I'm painting right now! Not sure if it was figured out in post but I did see that melta pistol (inferno) was said as being d6, but it's actually d3 in 10th. Not that it mattered for the Serpahim since they were in melta but it would have for the Canoness. Either way i don't think it would have made an impact in the scheme of things. Wonderful to see both armies played with such enthusiasm! Hope to see more of both armies in the future.
3rd secondary; attacker gets points for units in opponents deployment, defender points for units in your own deployment; both get half points for no mans land and quarter points for opposite, such as defender gets 1/4 points for having units in opponents zone and attacker gets 1/4 points in own zone. Either unit by unit or per cost of units.
Nice one Steve, love the Gravis themed list. I like how many different lists we can run with marines post codex. Btw Sisters player inferno pistols are d3 not d6 dmg
Regarding holding one back to see if its worth a miracle dice, im not sure why thay wouldnt be okay at a tournament? Its not like fast rolling for a cp, you gain no extra information by rolling the first six of seven in one go as compared to rolling the first six of seven one at a time. Please do let me know if ive missed something there as I'd hate to cheat!
It is the way you're supposed to use Miracle Dices. Because the game is supposed not to be fast rolling, you can throw your miracle dice whenever you want for saves or such. It's just in things like charge where you're supposed to throw 2 dices at the same time that you have to make your Miracle Dice first before throwing the last one
So this is what happens when Ben rolls average. Huh, Ben's dice make him seem like a better player than Steve, but it is going to be another 5 years before he wins another 40k against Steve. Thank you for the batrep. Also, are y'all going to do a 40k Crusade campaign before 10th ends? So your secondaries are M&M hammer: Slay the Warlord for 200 pts and Score a number of pts equal to a unit killed or 1/2 of the points if half of the unit is dead at the end of the game? Don't know primary, but a third secondary is 100 pts per table quarter you control ( Player controls a table quarter based on the number of units/points in it). However, the thought of a player gaining a number of points equal to the points cost of remaining units from their starting army on the battlefield, half points for units that are under strengthed or Battleshocked, at the end of the game. So a 300 pts unit is still 300 pts if they're still alive but 150 pts if under strengthed or Battleshocked. If y'all just want to focus on killing everything on the board.

At 28:06 can someone explain why Ben says it isn’t fair to roll the first 6 saves and hold one for a miracle dice? As a sisters player I do that all the time
I have no idea, because as he said, it's "not fast rolling" (I mean yes but actually no). And because you're supposed to roll one thing at the time, you can just see at the last dice if you want to miracle dice it or not. So it's totally fair to do it
you missed rerolls on the back tank with your eradicators. then the inceptors would have wiped out the back line and you had a full inceptor blob for the rest of the game
I believe with sisters you have to always roll one dice before you can miracle dice 🎲 I'm not 100 % sure but from what I've seen from other channels it maybe like a rule 🤔
Nope. It's because when you can fast roll, people usually do some rolls before seeing if it's worth it to use a miracle dice (because you're supposed to do each attacks or whatever one at a time technically). But in situation where you have for exemple to do a charge, and you have 2 dices you need to roll at the same time, you have to pick your miracle dice before rolling the second one
I'm a newbie at this, so can someone please explain why at 17:25, he just ignores 4 hits? I've rewatched it a few times but it isn't clear to me at all.
melta should have been anti-vehicle anti monster 3+ or 4+ in melta range plus the dmg in my opinion. supposedly one of the best anti tank weapons with the down side of short range are not that great against vehicles in 10th. Since Sisters anti big stuff is their meltas Sisters have had it a bit rough. the miracle dice does seem to help if you can roll those good miracle dice. bit surprised Steve has not wanted to paint sisters, but that is probably my love of their aesthetic.
Commenting as a sisters player. That sisters players is cheating so much. Exorcist, D6+2 not D6+6 and as it's firing indirectly should be AP-1 not AP-2. Should also have had only 2 miracle dice at the start of turn 1. Turned me off the whole vid. No point seeing how an army plays if you're making up your own rules.
Bro first, he only EVER shot d6+2 in this battle report. Indirect firing doesn't lower Ap by one. it gives cover. And we added Cover EVERY time it fired out of LOS. He only had 2 Miracle Dice turn 1, he literally caught that seconds later. You didnt say a single thing that was relevant to this Batrep at all in your comment. Now thats fine people sometimes miss things when watching a video, but your closing sentence was a lame dude.
