This video will help you to perform the Ultrasonic Interferometer experiment on a virtual platform.
Ultrasonic Interferometer is a device to determine the velocity of ultrasonic waves in different liquids with a high precision. Ultrasonic waves have the frequencies greater than 20 KHz.
We have main focus on:
Components of Ultrasonic Interferometer experiment device,
What is Ultrasonic Interferometer experiment and how to perform in real and virtual lab?,
How to take Ultrasonic Interferometer experiment readings.

Thank you for the detailed explanation of the experiment. Can you please advise how much amount of liquid we should fill up in actual set up? Thank you.

Fill it upto neck. More precisely, leave a very limited space so that after insertion of reflector (metal rod), liquid will not overflow.

Sir how we are relating standing waves produced with current, which is once waves are produced but how we relate it to current
@SimplyPhysics
@SimplyPhysics 3 года назад
Ultrasonic waves are produced by quartz crystal fixed at the bottom. These waves are reflected by a movable metallic rod (reflector). If the separation between quartz crystal and reflector is exactly a whole multiple of the sound wavelength, standing waves are formed in the medium. This acoustic resonance gives rise to an electrical reaction on the generator driving the quartz crystal and anode current of the generator become a maximum.
