Diagnose Wall Motion Abnormalities on Bedside Ultrasound! Are you serious?! Oh yea.
Have you ever had a patient with chest pain and a non-diagnostic EKG, but you
were sure they were having an MI?? Did you know 80-90% of those
patients may have a wall motion abnormality? Wouldn't it be cool if
you could diagnose those and get 'em to cath lab IMMEDIATELY? Of course it would! Well if
you want to learn how, here's our podcast on how to do just that.
Download this puppy and get to gettin'.

how that will correlate with EKG posterior infarction for example!?

If I am not mistaking, your case 3, is actually a view of apical 5-chamber. A true apical long axis should show the aorta going from left of the screen to the right with the corresponding LA and LV at the left side of the screen. Would you please answer, I am confused.

You’re right, and the valve seems thicknened and restricted, Id like to think it’s global hypokinesia with echo brightness, This points more toward infiltrative disease.

If i notice hypokinesis or akinesis in the apex , so how should i report the case as sonographer? should i say that this is Acute myocardial infarction? or should i say this is coronary artery this? how to differentiate the acute from chronic coronary artery disease or infarction?

In case 3 you called the anterior wall the inferior wall. Can you verify these for me thanks .. In the Reynolds book the side you called inferior is the anterior wall

inferior-anterior little confusing... do u mean posterior by calling it inferior ?!
@AHDel_ne3ma.
@AHDel_ne3ma. 3 месяца назад
He is calling the antrolateral wall of LV “posterior or inferior, infrolateral” septal wall “antroseptal” instead of infroseptal without classification of basal, mid and apical
@MikeMallin

ASE has changed the Posterior wall to now be called the inferior wall. So inferior is the new posterior. (Inferior is the new black). -Mike Mallin

In apical 4 chamber there is nothing called infrolateral. There is antrolateral and infroseptal. No posterior
