We always catch Popa’a and hear action stories off it but we just never choose to slide um because we usually like for go for slivers, but just recently we had one fat wack on one Popa’a so we going probably be sliding down Popa’a more often🤙🏼 (Bry)

Mahalo for the support! Nice, I love kona side, never fished there before but always wanted too. What drone do you have? Also I would recommend you testing out the “release mechanism” on land, before you fly it over the ocean. Also make sure your drone is capable of carrying out your load. I made the mistake once of sending a heavy lead and a big bait all at once and the line got all tangled in my clip(release mechanism) and I almost crashed it 400 yards out😂 so just be careful out there, if you keep at it you’ll catch the hang of it🤙🏽 (Bubz)

Right now the 6/0 reals have 80lb and the 4/0 have 60lb. We’re gonna add some 150lb rub line to avoid the break offs we’ve been experiencing recently. If you have any other questions just let us know🤙🏽 (Bubz)

Thank you for your comment and we actually do cast our Ulua pole majority of the time, it’s just that we have a drone not much RU-vidrs are drone fishing, so it’s something somewhat unique to us. Also casting out an Ulua Pole with a drone is much more effective and entertaining than a person casting. We can actually see the spot we’re dropping the lead at so we know if it’s a good spot or not. We’re just using the resources we have.
