True. Unfortunately, hardly any of us would have ever known that if she didn't get naked at the tender age of 18 in Dangerous Liaisons. Reese Witherspoon had to get nude in her first movie at age 20 I think. Its awful what actresses have to do early in their career in order to even get their start.
This woman is amazing. She gets more beautiful and more engaging every time I see her. I'm sure she has her shortcomings, but I imagine just being in her company is simply dazzling.

It’s not difficult to recognize, acknowledge, appreciate and to share the simple and the smallest of things in your day...such as a pretty smile or a hardy, contagious laugh. I've seen a lot of Uma's work, and I shit you not, the older she gets, the better and more engaging she becomes. Last time I watched her was in *Bel Ami*, and even though it didn't make take off like some of her other movies, I honestly didn't take my eyes from the movie screen from start, right through to the finish, and such a wonderful cast. Yeah, I like Uma, she kicks ass, and the other thing is, I've noticed how husky her voice has become over the years, probably too many ciggies, I know, I've got the same thing..LOL Smart cookie, and totally doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks.

I'm loving this. I am pleasantly surprised that she has an above average intelligence, perhaps even genius IQ. Kristen Stewart & Lauren Hutton both quickly come to mind as a comparison. Somehow more beautiful than looks could ever convey. Back in the 1990's she seemed to be in all of my favorite films.

I think Uma Thurman was trying to look for a reason to be rude, but the interviewer comes off as honestly genuine about his questions to her. I get it though, interviews must be tough and theres a certain stigma about interviewers, always trying to embarrass you with some dumb question. But I honestly didn't detect that from him here.

wired weird...sexual abuse wreck peoples lives esp. if you cannot speak out and therefor has to carry the deep dark demons for years....it destroys you...coz u cant be who you really are, coz of the pain... so u r trying to portray to the world that you are a whole awesome person when really you are DYING inside with that deep dark painful DEMON that you are carrying. which we only now have the info. on! so all of those years she was just SUFFERING IN SILENCE!!! That destroys a person!!!!
Unfortunately i found Uma too defensive and uncooperative with this host who knew a lot about he and was wanting to get into her brilliance .. But the 'sensitive' question turned Uma to a less than becoming side .. A little hostile and mean... I wanted to hear how uma achieved her acting ability in kill bill.. That role appears to be one of the most difficult ever played to perfection by a female.. Uma.. What a beauty.. Keep making films

How does no one seem to pick up on this? So bizarre. To the other commenter, she doesn't look like she's on something, she's looks exhausted to me, and she doesn't appear to like the host. Uma actually seemed unusually miserable. Hmmm.. I agree, she does not want to be there and cannot wait to leave. It's so evident, she cannot even hide it. So strange... all the comments saying the opposite. It's like the have zero intuition or ability to read someone, even though, to me/us, it seems blatantly obvious she's faking that smile and laughter.
@@wendigo1919 It certainly looks like she was just going through the motions in this interview. Perhaps, from her perspective, this was a triggering experience, somehow. I wish she had just stormed off the stage lol, wacking her way through with a sword. But that only happens in the movies.
