First KO of his professional fight career and first thing he said "I am sorry I hit you with an extra punch". Says alot about how he was raised and how his Coaches kept him in line.
@@khalidbinwalid3352 these people have no respect for anyone who doesn’t live like they do. They hate gay people. They don’t believe women should do anything but raise children and stay at home. And they beat those same values into their children. Just look up the video of Khabib and the homeless guy. It’s despicable the way these people think
The literal speed at which that moment happend was insane. The knockout hit was a subtle hit really compared to whats possible obviously but as he was on the way down he was already on his way over/down with that last hammer fist. Just seeing how fast his reaction was is mind boggling from a response perspective.
The Dagestan camp always conducts themselves as gentlemanly as possible with the most respect for their opponent. Humility is what makes this sport so special. Congratulations Umar!
How can you not like this guy? He tried apologizing before the ref even stopped the fight. He apologized again the moment he was given a chance to speak. MUCH RESPECT!
@@ThinkingFreedomevery true Muslim identifies with their religion before they identify with their ethnic background, you don’t know this, then you don’t know anything
Imagine the feeling having your first KO in your LIFE. Instead of being cocky, he instantly took control of his emotions and felt bad for his fellow athlete. Respect brother ❤
@@jerico9263 He never said that all Muslims act this way, he said Islam is what causes this and he is 100% correct because the faith is based on the lifestyle of submitting or giving up everything you have to God and His Will, including your ego and hatred. It quite literally purifies your heart. Instead God wants you to be humble and merciful, traits that every one of these Daghestani Muslims have. They are true Muslims (one who submits to God’s Will). The mere hand that he holds his opponents head with in such a caring and humane way is a Muslim act, Muslim in the very literal and true sense of the word. These Daghestanis have the character they have because they are Muslim, Alhamdulillah.
I'm surprised more people arnt talking about umars reaction to hitting a downed opponent, immediately trys to stop his head hitting the canvas and used his speech to apologise. Top tier human right there
Had there been any other than Degestanis they would have atleast punched 2-3 more while seeing his opponents fall on the ground . Be honest in your observations
@@syedabbas1101 that’s the whole point they made. I’m sure there are other decent humans besides this group alone but of course we praise them for their character. It’s just a bit odd when someone is praising them and your mad we didn’t also insult everyone else. We love their amazing sportsmanship and character concerning the sport and opponents safety. 🙏🏽
Javier even said it ..They are the most respectful and humble fighters he ever had coach ..He even said that they are family and that just shows how wholesome these brothers are ..They may not know me but they got not just a fan in me but also a brother ...
One thing i have noticed about these guys out khabibs group and nation there so respectful and they rarely let the emotions control they seem to love to fight but hate hurting the opponent
You guys don’t realize that his dad saved up & bought a big house for about half their little village to live in. Including other fighters his dad was training, like Islam. So, I said “their” because 6 world champions ended up coming out of their house. EDIT: plus, I don’t know, but I’m sure he had brothers and sisters too, but I don’t think I’ve heard him mention them. His friends are his brothers too though.
@@shadifalanah1983 a true muslim wouldnt agree to punch anyone in the face as a sport Even khabib said in an interview he doesnt condone MMA as an islamicaly approved activity

@S Moreno are they? There's plenty of Muslims without those values. Being a good person your religion means nothing, there is bad people from religion and bad without. Those are just normal values of good people, regardless of belief.
Such humble human beings him and his team. That's why I love those guys so much. I had a brotherhood like that once upon a time. The world can learn a lot from them.
@@wazahattufail8781yup not every muslim, same goes to big heart other religion follower. but we can agreed dagestani show a great example for muslim world
@@jaihokiakarov4496 that's true. Good character, is a branch of faith in Islam. The more the faith, comes along with it is good character. Allah knows best.
All these fighters from dagistan are actually very honourable men. No trash talk , no smoking , no drinking or partying, just train-eat-pray-sleep and repeat. They have my respect .This is how real men should be.honourable and hard working, disciplined.
It doesnt fit their narrative and everything their media has taught them. They dont hate these people, they hate the fact that they are wrong about them.
You answered your question. Miserable dysfunctional and talentless people hate others just for their success. It’s pathetic but that’s some humans for ya.
What a response. Instead of boasting and being happy he showed consideration and compation about another human being. Alot to learn from this. Mashallah may allah bless him
Idc what people say. These Muslim guys are what it means to be a man. They have a code of honour unlike anything else. Their coach Mendez touched on that
@@soulus1084god is important because most of the religion teach humility and be a good person. God gives us hope and point us to a good direction. Sadly not all people look in the right direction.
The Dagestanis not only changed the game to new level but they also brought sportsmanship, respect, discipline with them. Because of them many people became new fans of this sport. Shout out to their culture and religion.
Those Dagestani guys are something special... The way they act in octogon and towards opponents before, during and after the fight is example to follow. Great sportsmanship
