Oh MY God!!! Walther PPK!!! My Dad Gonna love this gun. He's Die-Hard Fan of James Bond and Wished owned PPK.. It's quite a journey to see how they finally to see this classical beauty got remaked.
I am curious how the plate with mounting holes was installed on the slide?I can tell from the footage [8:42] that the plate seemed to be a standalone part, and many of them from Umarex would carry several plate along with those air guns.
The “sledgehammer” I think that gun reference was lost on most people. I’m gonna lose my crap if someone does a true sledgehammer load out at my field with that gun.
Can someone make a version of the newer LMT picatinny M203 that uses the three star bolts. The launcher frame is so much sturdier and lower profile, it's 2024 and still no one makes it.
Umarex needs to get thier game together. All other companies are are coming out with new technology, new weapons to train with and umarex is over here acting like glock 😂😂 way to keep behind the competition.
Its because they have the best planned obsolescence with it. people have to buy magazines that cost almost as much as the gun all the time and the gun will still be broken after a year.
But why a Walther PPK/S variant? The PPK/S has a short PPK barrel while also featuring a Walther PP lower frame and grip, which means it's slightly "taller" than the original Walther PPK, who had a shorter lower frame and different grip that wrapped all the way around the frame. For reference, James Bond used the Walther PPK throughout most of the movies, apart from the latest Craig movies where he was indeed issued a PPK/S. In reality, the PPK/S is using caliber 9mm, while the PPK was using caliber 7,62 mm. Oh well, a PPK/S is better than nothing, but I'd rather see a true Walther PPK as Airsoft. Either that, or a true Walther PP (longer barrel).
Probably because they also make the Co2 version & a 12g Co2 bulb won't fit in a standard PPK grip. It's most likely easier & cheaper to use the jigs to make both gas & Co2 variants.
The PPK/S looks nice, but i would wait until the reviews are in, the first gen PPQs and VP9s were pretty bad - if VFC cant copy a GBB mechanism, the outcome usually sucks. Also the PPK/S is a PP frame with a PPK slide, so i really hope the after makes counter matching parts, so we can build PPs and PPKs out of the PPK/S.
What was wrong with the VP9? I've had one issue with mine where two plastic tabs inside the frame broke off, and the slide goes too far backwards when shooting.
Vfc makes very good gbbr systems, but their gbbp still have room to improve. They do looks very good on the outside though. I will get the ppk as soon as it's out there nonetheless
Yeah, the PPQ has all sorts of issues. I had to rebuild the mags using silicone gasket sealant because the mag base leaks terribly after a while. The metal around where the barrel locks into slide is extremely thin, and my first slide split within 100 rounds. Reliability is patchy unless it's pretty warm, you get failures to lock open on an empty mag. It's a shame because it feels great in the hand, and the trigger is actually very good for an airsoft gun 🤷🏻♂️
@@brimalloy1487 lol what. Like sure they aren’t the best, but if you think SRC will be better, your delusional. Like fuck I would take a WE hi capa or 1911 over literally any SRC pistol which is hilarious since the WE 1911/hi capa are absolutely trash
I prefer marui even they make plastic replicas. umarex is actually a joke lol Src? Nah Also the m9 they make is shit too, for around 130-140 dollars you get a replica doesn’t have decock and a most horrible paint job I’ve ever seen that made by alloy P.s. They told me they can’t add the decock function cause the price isn’t very high lol. FYI even we tech can do it… years ago
