I agree. I built a Avenger .25 Bullpup that shot amazingly well out to 150 yards. Very tight groups. Gave it to a Marine Afghan veteran to enjoy with his 10 year old son. Good times in Texas.
Got mine on mon this week!!... I have been trying to get my hands on One of these umarex Gauntlet 30's For weeks and weeks!!I was getting so frustrated because every place that was showing "in stock" online, I would click on their website link and it was either always sold out... or it wouldn't let me check out, so I would call the shop and they would always say, " Sorry man, but these things are right BACK OUT OF THE DOORS the same day we get them BACK in!!!". But my persistence paid off, and I found the last one in stock at the last shop I checked. I absolutely love this thing... it is a grip it and rip it 💯% it's a beast.
Can confirm, the 30 Dawg does cut the bark down significantly. I am beyond pleased with your work, my friend. Looking at getting out towards the end of the month to get some meat in the freezer.

I’m pretty new to air guns but I’m trying to learn everything I possibly can. Your videos and rebuilds are great. I don’t know much but your point about the barrel and bottle being flexible and not fixed and how that can effect POI makes total sense. I actually wondered that when I first got my Gauntlet 2 in .25 cal but then I just brushed that thought aside and thought to myself “if that was an issue then surely the factory producing the gun would fix it”…so it must not be a big deal. It sounds like maybe my first instinct might have been right.Your common sense approach to things and the way you explain things is refreshing to me. You should just start your own gun company! I’m surprised some of the gun making companies haven’t tried to hire you. Do you have a Gauntlet 2 kit for a .25 cal? What about a .25 cal moderator? What bipod were you using in this video?

The G2 oem stock is not as heavy as the G1 so for the G2 it’s not much of a weight savings. It’s more about the versatility and comfort of having a pistol grip & adjustable length of pull. The weight savings & weight balance can be further improved by switching to a shorter, carbon fiber bottle. sounds to me like you need to start making some terminator slugs for that .30 cal. my m3 and my brocock xr magnum and mt aea challenger love the 33 grain , all in .025

it seems to me that what you've done is take the "free float" out of the free float tube. now when it goes from your cool house or car and into the heat, there is no place for it to expand to, and everything expands under those conditions, unless your brackets and the factory bottle are all made from the same gauge alloy. thats why the factory stock had as you said, wiggle room. or am i missing something?
@@terminadorairgunsandoutdoors powder burner barrels come in many diameters including pencil thin. diameter has nothing to do with a barrels harmonics, but free floating does. ask any benchrest shooter

Love the rifle, but their tech support is horrible. I have a Umarex Gauntlet first version .25 cal, had a few problems with it, I called tech support and had a argument with them on the phone. The tech support people one in particular is a real asshole. I will never buy another rifle from them again just because of one or two idiots that are employed there. I instead I purchased last week a Air Venturi Avenger from Pyramid Air and love it. Tech support is awesome and very Knowledgeable. Think twice before you purchase from Umarex.
