I took the Umarex Hammer .50 air rifle out on a hog hunt and started off still hunting the thickets before moving to the open fields, grassy plains and hardwoods, but had no luck. It was hot and very dry, which made it difficult to move silently the through the vegetation.
In the late afternoon I hitched a ride to a blind on the back side of the ranch. Finally, there was a change of luck as the sun was setting. This video is out of sequence, it was filmed early this spring, but I misplaced the SD card until this morning, so join me for a look back!
