The Umarex® Legends Line is now rocking the legendary M3 Grease Gun. The Legends M3 Grease Gun from Umarex Airguns is based on the M3A1 variation used from 1944 and beyond. Underneath the dust cover resides the bolt and its cut-away thumb charging slot. This blowback action Airgun does fire from the open bolt just like the M3 firearms did. Noteworthy features include the collapsible wire stock, drop-free 60 round magazine, fixed peep style sights, and a 1,050 BB per minute rate of fire. Like other Legends SMGs, the M3 Grease Gun is powered by (2) 12-gram CO2 cartridges. Expect to shoot approximately 120 BBs (two magazines) for each full CO2 charge.

Yes!!! Umarex please consider making a pcp legends line! Garand, M1 Carbine, 1903 Springfield, Mosin Nagant and a Lee Enfield would be amazing in 177, 22 and 25! And hey make a STG-44 bb replica too!

@@UmarexAir I understand there’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff that has to go into creating these replicas. Just think it’d be amazing to have WW2 rifle replicas. I own the Diana k98 pcp. Would love more ww2 rifles in pcp haha.

Nice! My great gpa was in ww2 as a paratrooper in the 82nd and later the 101st. Before the M3 was introduced, he used a Springfield m1903. Seeing a grease gun c02 for sale, I knew I had to have it. This one would mean a lot to have because of its involvement with my family’s proud history. Already have an M1A1 Thompson that worked pretty well so keep up the great work!👍👍

The Grease gun was a throw away inexpensive alternative to the Thompson. The Thompson's they saved and collected as they were highly desirable.

3 part question, as I'm new to BB guns : 1) Can you buy a scope/sight, to mount on this gun? 2) Once you install the canisters, how long can they sit in the gun without use? For example, if I fire three or four BB pellets, and don't use it again for up to 12 months, do the canisters still hold its gas, or does it slowly leak out, or become less effective? 3) Does the semiautomatic mode allow you to shoot one BB pellet at a time? Great questions. The M3 was not made with a rail for mounting optics so there is not an attachment point. We don't recommend leaving punctured CO2 cartridges in the gun for more than a day. The constant pressure of the CO2 will corrode the seals. You don't want that. Semi-auto allows you to fire one BB at a time. Tip: if you don't want to shoot too much, you can put a used CO2 cartridge in and only puncture one new one. This way you can still enjoy some trigger time but you won't have to shoot too much before running out of gas. Also, put a drop of silicone oil, like RWS Chamber Lube, on the tip of each cartridge when inserting it. This will help prolong the life of the seals and lubricate the internal workings.

That's Awesome.Love how they did that one! ah cool tip if your a Umarex fan,grab a colt or M29 and some air venturi or crossman darts and bolts,and have some fun.They stick into those art canvas boards,replace after awhile or they will go through.The darts will fit into the bb shells as well,so bb or pellet versions of the colt will work.

Do you guys plan on addressing the ridiculous rate of fire? The original, was around 500rpm. Also, is there a way to reduce the rate of fire on the M1a1?

Exactly my thought they did fix it on the mp40 replica with the newer versions of it but this grease gun is just way too fast and it deters me from ordering one in hopes they will fix it in a later version

No way to do it without wasting more co2 as the bolt blows back, because the further the bolt blows back the slower the rate of fire, but....the further the bolt blows back the more energy it takes to blow back that bolt to get ready to fire the pin for that next BB. So as it is now its timed accurately for a blow back for max co2 usage, and max FPS which equates to a faster rate of fire. About as fast as a WW2 Russian SPH Burp gun. Also the original Thompson fired off a Full 30 round Mag at just over 3 sec. This one fires off the 30 round mag in just under 3 sec.✊😁

@@matrox You can google the firing rate of the original weapons, or watch the Fogotten Weapons videos. Ian is pretty could at providing factual information. I was asking if the company figured out the physical mechanics involved in reducing the rate of fire. it can be done, one way would be to alter the bolt weight and/or spring tension.

When can I actually buy it though, Umarex? I've been reading about this gun and its been on your website for more than a year now but it's still not available to purchase. At least Crosman is making new stuff and actually releasing it when they say they will. I'm just putting that out there. I'd love to see more compact full auto .177s like the Uzi and Mac 11 etc. Maybe some extended magazines even. I hate to say it but I've been turned off of umarex for some time now and I do feel like all these ideas are spread too thin in combo with making real firearms and all as well. I think I speak for alot of us when I say more BB and Pellet guns please!

That one is an M3a1, no charging lever, has a mag loader provision to the butt stock, and it also looks like it has the reinforced rear sight. Other than that it's great looking, just wished it was marked correctly.

@@UmarexAir Thanks, I am aware that UK guns are restricted to single shot and they take longer to be available in the UK. The M1 carbine was at one point available but not any longer it seems. I have looked at the website you suggest but neither gun seems to be listed. It would be nice to add these 2 guns to my collection at some point.

The original Grease the safety was simply in closing the ejection cover. Looks like umarex put an actual safety button on theirs instead of being true to the original.

I have both. My favorite is the thompson. Because I have not had any problems with it. The MP40 is awesome too, but the magazine has a problem jamming. Because you have to take the time and load the BBs staggered in 2 rows side by side. If not the BBs jam up at the feed. Simple enough to fix. Just remove the magazine pull down on the BB feed spring to let the BBs roll free. Release the spring install magazine and shoot until it happens again. Also on the MP40, it will continue to fire after the magazine is empty. It doesn't lock back after the last shot. The same problem exists with the new M3 greasegun magazines. Which is also a good add for a collector. Just make sure you stagger the bbs and then no problem. The thompson doesn't have that issue because it's just a single row of BBs in the mags. Good luck. Either way it's a blast! Lol

Yuppers. Received my M3 yesterday. It's all good! Got mine from Pyramyd air gun. Saved 20 bucks. Airgun Depot has the same 20 bucks less than umarex.
