Im gonna say it. The Notos is absolutely as accurate or even more accurate than my Armada. Im certain head to head they would be very comparable and even almost impossible to choose a winner. Almost. When you factor in the Notos’ weight and portability, I see myself hunting with the Notos. Im looking forward to Bird season to test my confidence. I have several tins of Hades 15.89 gr on the way. Haha. Enjoy.

Any body can shoot a BB rifle and try to lob at something and hope to hit in 100 shots lol I think you need to stay within reason at 50. This is hilarious man. It doesn't prove anything but get a better air rifle and stop waisting shots and ammo. You ain't hitting no quarry at 90 yards. First shot you miss it'll be gone run off. A BB gun will shoot 90 yards lol

@@eddiecahall3824 its funny because you are the only one who seems to think it IS a 100 yard rifle. I dont, im not even sure if its a 50 yard rifle. Ive had it 4 days. Haha. Ive said many times this is beyond its intended use, but it can still do it. Im simply showing that this (maybe) 50 yard carbine can absolutely still hit beer cans, and even smaller out to 94 yards. The average shooter doesnt sit around and shoot groups all day. Well I dont anyway. I plink beer cans, shoot chipmunks, and occasionally shoot mice. Can you buy a $280 air rifle and shoot beer cans out to 90 yards and beyond. Absolutely. You dont have to sort pellets, and wash them, and tune your gun, or pray morloch. The average joe can blast shit all day long with a Notos. No needed dicking around or extra effort. Thats what the sport is all about. Not shooting groups lol. Certaily i’ve set the bar low enough that shooting 1 inch targets at 94 yards will be a breeze for you. You said it yourself, anybody can lob 100 rounds at a target and hit it. But can you lob 43 rounds at a 1 inch target at 94 yards and hit it 13 times? Certainly it will be zero challenge to you. Hitting 30% with any rifle WELL beyond its capable range is respectable. And easily replicated (by your opinion). I look forward to seeing you shoot beyond 15 yards and still have the arrogance to critique anyone else. Lastly, enable comments on your channel for constructive criticism that will surely improve your shooting ability. Its quite refreshing. :)

@@eddiecahall3824 What BB gun is going to shoot accurately at 90 yards compared to a .22 PCP? You're lobbing rounds in with pretty much any air gun at 100 yards. Hell, your lobbing in 22lr at 100 yards, 7 inch drop. LOL

100 yards with a pcp is a walk in the park if you know how to shoot long range. Anyone that says it's not possible is just showing their ignorance.

@@eddieb1766 Yea, I just got my Notos 4 days ago, and with cheap .22 caliber pellets, I was hitting cans at 100 yards. It's not that hard, considering I do a lot of long-range shooting. BUT I can say I miss more than I hit but hey its a short carbine shooting cheap light ammo.

glad to see it goes the distance. I did the same thing with thermal. put 100's of shot at a warmed up 2 in washer. i put my back out pumping the stupid gun up. that is when i decided to get the electric air pump. I went through a tin of pellets just plinking. Now time for summer time chippers. keep up the videos, i enjoy watching them.

Yeah the compressor Gman brought out is on my list. The Notos is easy enough to pump so Im in no rush. But if I plan to keep the Armada runnin im gonna for sure need a compressor. Haha thanks again homie! Lookin forward to watching some smackin thermal footage. Shoot straight bud!

Liked your video my friend. I own a notos and was telling my son i shot dove at least 80 yards with those same hades. I am 67 and i grew up shooting the old school low guns but times have change with more fpe guns. 😁

Hell yeah! I believe it. The Notos is no joke. And yes it is amazing how fast they have advanced in even the last 10 years! The power and accuracy is amazing! Have a great week and thanks for the comment!

Nice Shootin John. Looks like we have to get you some Slayer metal targets true. That yellow paint make some real easy to see keep having fun and waiting for you to get some domed 15.89g JSB too compare to the Hades.

Yep, they should be here tomorrow. Trenier has a nice quick shipping time being so close. Cant wait to try some more lead through er. The barracuda hunter extremes did really well also but I only have like 50 of those. Gotta take er easy a few days tho. Too much havin fun with this thing. It really is surprisingly accurate for its compact size. And with less than a week of trigger time, Im quite certain im gonna love this thing. Hahahaha. Thanks again bud have a goodn.

My Notos loves the FX Atomic (JSB Hades) too. The JTS Dead Center 18.1 were also very good in my gun.
@renterp

Yeah ive gotta try the Dead centers. They really are a cut above the rest when comparing quality. Ill be sure to try them out, thanks!

Prob my Notos but with the stock mags the Hades and CHP’s always jam up. I just got the new Canada 10 shot mags to try them with.
@renterp
@renterp Год назад
Yeah my mags took a but to break in too. It also helps to just apply a slight bit of pressure pushing the mag back out ever so slightly to align pellet and breech. When a pellet is pushed out of the mag and into the breech with the pellet probe going through the magazine and into the breech, the mag sits slightly to the left of where it is sitting when the magnet pulls the mag into place. The magnet pulls it just a little bit too far to the right and the alignment is off. Well mine was anyway. But again slightly applying pressure to the mag pushing left when operating the side lever helps feed the pellet in a little straighter. I will say that after about 250 rounds that issue almost never happens anymore. So im not sure if something just needed to be broken in, or what. But i also had that issue.
@Jeeper1378
@Jeeper1378 Год назад
@@renterp def better once broke in. Yea i do that every time in cock it. What happens with me (I believe) when the lever is pulled back and the mag springs to the next pellet.. certain pellets work there way out slightly. Enough to jam up the mag but not let the probe through. Couple times i was able to use my rod through the barrel and push the pellet back into the mag, enough to get it out. Seems to be the slightly smaller heads of the Hades/CHP’s that gave me issues.

Great video. I know my notos is capable of hitting a rat at 100 yds and would kill it too. I wouldn't shoot at any other living thing besides mice with it at a distance greater than 60 yards IMO. If you have a chrony get a velocity and a FPE at the range. I only have 35 yds to work with at present and my notos will shoot dime to quarter sized groups all day long

I bet that Notos could hold up to 100 yards and now based off the pinned comment, I want to see it regardless. lol Diana Bandit at 70 yards can easily hold its own, even with the pistol barrel on it. I run 20.2 grain NSA .219 slugs in mine.
@renterp
@renterp Год назад
For sure! I shot a Diana Chaser a few weeks back and i was blown away. The Bandit looks like a legitimate functioning machine. A homie of mine has one and loves the shit outa it. They are so modifiable. Diana makes great stuff. I will say ive hit small rocks, maybe ping pong ball sized all the way out to 120 yards with zero effort. It absolutely surprised me. I was filming it but those kinds of videos aren’t everyone’s thing. Maybe ill make a compilation of 100+ yard videos with the Notos. Some people may wonder what its effective range is, so far it will deliver rounds to beer cans well beyond 100 with fairly decent repeatability. Super decent for a damn carbine. Thanks for the great comment and have a great week.

I shot a 5 shot 100 yard 1.5 inch group with a Chaser that I converted to hpa. It's pushing 10.03 JSB Knockouts at a whopping 8 fpe but they fly straight. All these armchair quarter backs that don't shoot regularly at 100 like I do have no idea what they are talking about.

@@renterpMy Bandit is a .25 that will shoot over 20 fpe with the factory hammer spring. If you don't own one, but you should. They're a load load of fun and very accurate. I have 7 SPA guns now and not a dud in the bunch.

Yeah i think its important to stick to what you are capable of, but also its a shit ton of fun to step outside of your capabilities and try the “impossible”. Personally Im certain I can take mice out to 94 yards with the Notos. I look forward to testing that notion. Great comment, have a great day.
@ozzie4414
@ozzie4414 Год назад
You shouldn't shoot anything past your capabilities. My Notos generates 20.9 FPE at the muzzle. While I've taken a few birds with my Notos at 35 yards, I'm confident the could take jackrabbit sized game out to 50 yards.

It only takes about 5fpe to drive a 22 jsb 14.3 thrue a squirrels head as long as you know you can make the shot why not take it you should have 10fpe at 80ish yards I personally couldn't hit the broad side of a barn past 50yds
