UMAREX NOTOS FULL REVIEW AND RAT HUNT 

I polished all contact points in the trigger and cut a coil off the spring! Much better and probably half the weight of stock! One of those triggers that gets better with use! Overall I'm really liking it too. Great barn gun for sniping pigeons and rats! Great video Dana! James from Michigan

Umarex is really on top of it, increasingly more so as of late.

Great review as usual Dana. The Notos isn't perfect, but I definitely think it is well worth the money.

I ordered the Notos in .22 we have the same pellets CP hollow point 14.3 grains. Now I know the results I’m going to get. 🙂👍 thanks for the good review🤝🙂

They get the trigger slop fixed and they have a nice value shooter. Good stuff brother.

Nice shooting - not easy with that weight trigger. Looks to be a useful rat taker though, and I like the top rail - I find the same eye relief problem on many of my rifles when using the Pard add-on.

I think this is my next toy. Yeah, those Crosman Premieres are just good all around inexpensive pellets. I’ve got both versions of the Fusion, and although the Fusion 2 I have is pretty much just a slug gun, both shoot the Premiers really accurately.

Nice job Dana! I love the rifle Dana! Very nice job Dana! Could you do some short and long range pellet testing with JSB, H&N, RWS, and the JTS pellets in the future? I love this carbine. In addition to your comments things I would like to see to make this better or as a Notos Elite model: A firm lockup folding stock to make it a true backpack rifle, A larger diameter 80cc+ air cylinder, and a larger capacity magazine (the New Beeman type are nice).

Good review. I have one I bought a month ago. I just need to work on the trigger and it is at 4 lbs now. It sure is quiet. A mild tune got following: LO 779 FPS HI 782 AVG 780.1 ES 7.82 SD 1.73

I had to to rat tail file. Very. Gently. My clip mags for the origin .22 rifle. Had machine burs in it. & kept it from indexing to the next round * yu can possibly change springs in. the clips too

I’d like to see how you fill it with air. And maybe a recommendation on what can be used to fill the tank.

I’m going to purchase the Artemis PP 750. I have read that some owners have gotten up to 33 or more FPE and I think around 800 FPS. Have you done any videos showing how in which modifications you should do to achieve this level of performance?

I was thinking to get the Gamo Arrow PCP Air Rifle to add to my collection. But now I see that Umarex came out with the Notos carbine. Now I'm not sure which one to get. what do you and others think? Which one should I get?

I have to admit I’m confused. Visually, I saw something called the Buckrail which I liked the best, but I’m still not sure what it is. Artemis and Snowpeak are the the same manufacturer but this company has two different names for the PP750 which is odd. What’s the difference between the snow peak PP750 and the Notos? I was told the Notos has lever on the left side but otherwise I’m not sure what other changes they have made or who they are. Then you have the Notos PP750, then there is the Umarex Notos PP750 and then there is the Buckrail PP750 or is it the Notos Buckrail PP750? Is Notos Buckrail? I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a confusing mess in terms of marketing a product. Lol.

I just bought this notos. And im new. I cant fill the gun from my air tank. I put the fill prode on it and fill up but air was leak true the barrel. What hell. Am i just got a junk air gun or what please help. I dont see any video how to fill this notos. Thanks

Not sure if you seen the Benjamin catalogue, but they have a new PCP coming out called the Kyro. It looks like a cooler version of the Notos but the specs are not as good as the Notos.

Does the 10 round Gauntlet mag fit in it?
