Umarex Notos - Long Range Plinker? 

Really impressed with my Notos too. Lightweight, accurate and just fun to shoot.

I've done an in depth chronograph test video for the Notos that should answer that question. The general numbers are around 700 FPS, at 13 FPE

@@OTSA Mine finally arrived and I took it out late last night, seems I forgot what happens to the temp when the Sun goes down though. I have an ancient Weaver 3X9 scope I put on it and we were rockin' and rollin' at 25 yards on paper, covered a 5 shot group with a quarter. I searched to see what scope you were using but couldn't find it, can you remind me please?

You're the first to ask, but I've shown and talked about it before in previous videos. 🤷🇺🇲🍻 It's a cheap Amazon mil-dot, 9x max magnification. Nothing special by any means.

They are relatively cheap aren't they? Like put ten dollars away each day for a month and you'll have one,, Anyway hope you enjoy it if you do decide to get one 👍

It's not loud at all. I don't have the Canebrake so I can't speak on that, but I do have the MPX. The Notos is quieter than the MPX. The MPX and the MCX Rattler Canebrake would most likely be similar in sound level. 🍻

Actually have been using JSB Diabolo Jumbo Heavy's in it in more of my recent videos. It's a huge fan of the heavy pellets. 🍻

I actually picked that up at my local Dunham's Sporting Goods store 🍻

It's 100 yards. I can gladly bring out the range finder for you if you are in doubt. I don't do this for clout, I just do it for fun. The camera lens I use for long range shots like this might be why it appears closer than it is. I can take the same footage with my phone and put them side by side and you will see a big difference in how the footage is captured.

The bang for the buck is pretty hard to beat if you ask me! 🍻

Yup the Beeman 1358 and 1359 underlever series!!! Comes in 25 cal which Notos does not!

Once you get used to not having to take your hand off of the grip or eyes off of the target, it will grow on you fast

Honestly this gun is not intended for 100 yard shots. At least not grouping shots. It's still technically a pistol. I'm just one of those people who can't resist seeing how far they can go. For any kind of effectiveness you want to definitely stay 50 yards or under. At 100, you're having to pretty much lob them out there, aiming much higher than your intended target, etc. 🍻

You really don't have to practice that much if you're familiar with long range shooting. If you can get out of the wind, these low to mid powered pellet slingers can do quite well at 100 yards.

I do that lol I shoot almost everyday with my Jts rifle so far the longest shot I took is a 2 inch target at 130 yards

Believe me Johnny, I was expecting to go through a few mags before MAYBE hitting it 😆 Certainly didn't expect to nail it on the second shot! I think my reaction speaks for itself 🤣🍻

I show what I'm using at the beginning. It's a graphic that pops up on the screen, you can't miss it because it takes up the whole screen lol. It was RWS Meisterkugelns If you go back and watch the beginning again you will wonder how you missed it lol, it's all good 🍻

No it doesn't leak. It sits for weeks on my wall and never loses pressure.

Yeah something isn't right. Those should be fine in it.

No it should be smooth. What kind of pellets were you using? Sometimes these guns are picky about which pellets are best in them
