One of the most realistic and feature packed BB guns at a low price point. This review takes a look at the positives and negatives of the gun, but any negatives can almost all be forgotten by it's superb blowback feel when shooting.
This little compact is even better that stated in the review. Never had a problem loading CO2 canister. Ergonomics are fantastic and shoots like a dream. AAA+ for the price. Hope the real firearm Walther P22 LR pistol shots as smooth as this. I want to get one.
Hello young man. I can’t believe you made this 8 years ago, how time fly’s. My name is Rudy. I just watched your video on the Walther CP99 Compact. I just bought this pistol about a year ago. I don’t like BB pistols all that much due accuracy issues. I thought long and hard about buying this one. I watched many videos and read up on it trying to get all the information I could. Not having one anywhere in my area, I couldn’t get my hands on one. Well I bit the bullet and ordered it. When it arrived I was very pleased with my decision. I immediately liked it’s weight and it’s feel. I also like the ejector port cut out. You said in your video that the C02 locking mechanism was a bit difficult, I have to agree. I once wrote in a review that it has, quite a learning curve to it. I still don’t like it much because it always leaves me wondering if it’s just right. I’m sure you understand. Actually I’m in favor of the safety. I like it very much. At the time of filming this I understand you were much younger, but take it from a older man, if you had children you would appreciate the multi steps of it’s operation. That is not a criticism towards you by any means. Again I really like this video. Now I’m wondering if you still have this pistol? Has it remained in good condition with normal use? Have you had any issues with it? I’m curious about it’s wear pattern. I only have one other BB pistol and that’s the, CZ P09. I have it in Dual Tone Flat Dark Earth with Black Slide. It’s a good pistol but lacks the authenticity of it’s actual counter part. And I dislike that the ejector port because it’s false. I was a Tank Commander in the Army and had my hands on many weapons at that point in my life. But after that I didn’t touch a weapon again for many many years. I did miss going to the range and and putting some lead Down Range. But I didn’t want to think about the ugly things they do. So I compromised with myself and got into pellet rifles and a few BB guns instead. And I enjoy it very much. Excuse my ramblings. All I’m trying to say is, good job on your video!! Well done!! The co2 tightening screw sucks. I wish I could mod it somehow because if you don't get it right it either won't puncture the cartridge enough or it'll be too much. Otherwise the gun would be nice for quick access.
You can take the slide off just remove the pin thats holding the u shaped plastic piece in above the trigger take the plastic piece off and rack the slide back and up and the slide will come off easily for cleaning
Kool video, my question is why do I have to keep cocking the gun after I shoot it. the first couple of days I didn't have to, I could keep pulling the trigger and it would shoot until empty.
This was my first pistol, BB or otherwise, and I love it. I own a Walther P99c, which this gun replicates, mostly. It has a very authentic look and feel. And it scary accurate. I can knock out an embedded BB from 15' on the following shot. BUT it is horribly made. My first self-destructed in under two months. My second is hanging in there, but the slide is seriously loose. If you're looking for a well-made Walther replica, I can't recommend the Umarex PPS highly enough. From build quality to handling the PPS replica is a much better pistol.
at 9:56 you said a very, very common thing that people get wrong...it's not for "all intensive purposes", it for "all INTENTS AND PURPOSES". Everyone gets this wrong buddy.
