Man I miss the upside down show. I was way too old for it but it got me through some tough times, just the absurdism of it just sort of pulled me out of reality. This brings me back
There once were two men from where down is under told tales of their lives, and worlds here and yonder They silently speak through sound an mime And using their voices from time to time Despite their success they work really hard Improving themselves, true masters of the art Shane got so good at playing the lead And Dave, for this bit, even learned how to read
@@UmbilicalBrothers I watched Speedmouse five times and know lots of shorts by heart. You guys' rendition of Arnie inspired my own line of impressions. I've invested a lot of my time in you guys already, another hour makes no difference. With that being said, if you guys accept unsolicited submissions, I got another couple of those. And scripts. And love. And nudes
As far as I'm concerned this is one of the best shows that need a serious reboot. You 2 continue to impress even the grown up kids and I'd be down for some glassketball. Though that be a big imaginary mess but you'd find a way to creatively clean it. ;)
The ending to this had some Don’t Explain vibes to it. Remember? When Dave was singing and Shane was constantly making noise and disrupting the performance?
well spotted! we do sfx for a lot of the eps, but high tinkly noises, like jingling keys and smashing glass are very difficult. best to use the real thing.
Are there more of these Disney Channel bits?? It’s been so long between the two posted here. And if not will there be? You guys and Disney are pretty much my dream partnership!
My Son Got This Idea That After He Has His RU-vid Channel Started, That He's Gonna Make A Reboot Of The Upside Down Show. And He Is Gonna Do The Role Of A New Character Called James Who Is Shane And David's Cousin. You Don't Have To Be Hired, Everyone In It Is Basically Gonna Be All CGI. And The Voices Are Gonna Be Artificial Intelligent. Hope You Like It When It's Ready! 😉
Shane managed to jumpscare me when his head popped into the book. Also, notice how no one on this comment section is 5, the targeted age for these videos
@@UmbilicalBrothers aha holy crap use replied to my comment ;] What I mean is like compared to watching your live shows and the upside down show use like use your body and voices in another way then what use do in this skit. Like in your other videos we see u make the noise with your mouths and in this use dont. Like idk I didn't laugh once or even smile I know im gonna probs get roasted in the comments for this but this feels like something I'd watch on playschool sorry boys
Torin Farmer correct. It is something different. We had a distinct brief from Disney. They were very good at letting as get away with stuff, but not as forgiving as Sesame. -David.
