I managed to get about half way through Adams' rant...a good reminder that raw passion will get you onto a podium - but if you want the audience to take you seriously, you might need a bit of common sense...
Adams can be as passionate as he wants but he cannot refer to himself as coloured while claiming to be the first citizen of this country at the same time. What was he before he was coined "coloured" by the then settlers?
He is very delusional, they existed when black women they call khoi because those are black people were rapped by whites then they were born. He is not the first person if he is coloured.

You cannot claim to be the first citizen of South Africa while holding onto the oppressor's divide and rule concepts for dear life at the same time. By accepting you are coloured essentially means you didn't exist till the white man came. So how do you claim to be the first citizens while acknowledging to be the creation of whiteness?
You cannot claim to be a 'first person' of this land if you’re of mixed heritage-that simply doesn’t exist genetically. It’s basic biology! Run your gene sequence, and the facts will be clear. A thousand years ago, your lineage didn’t exist here. Biology doesn’t lie. The Khoi are Black people with hair like mine, but with different gene expressions, as is the case across Africa. In 2003, gene sequencing revealed that even the Xhosa carry Bushman genes, showing the complex interconnections within African ancestry. This is our land, as Africa is land of blacks, few wall paintings that were not done by coloureds means nothing.
