I'm Cameroonian but my favorite music is south African gospel. So I just checked online for south African gospel choirs and UMLAZI showed up. I listened to BABA WETHU a staggering 16 times. Sent it to my mom and dad and they're going crazy. Dad actually changed his ringtone to baba wethu 😂😂😂. Then I kept seeing this song (Zimangele) but was a little reluctant because BABA WETHU was still in my head. Do I need to tell you I've listened to this for the 9th time. This is breathtaking.

I stumbled upon a video when this song was being performed in a grocery store. I was left in tears, really left in tears. My mind keep going back to the many Africans who have been displaced, and also those who has have suffered terrible experiences from colonization. I just want my brother and sisters in the whole continent of Africa, every single country inside Africa, That your American sons and daughters will fight until our last breathe to lift you all up and restore greatness from which you have come from. Keep inspiring us here in the U.S.A. to continue to use our voices for you all. We love you all. Unite as one nation (all the countries) put aside you all differences and become a voice that no one overlooks. I see so much love in Africa and so much hate here in the States.
