As far as I know, the indigenous people of all America came from Siberia when there was a narrow passage through the Bering Strait, this proves that everyone has the same DNA.

it is interesting to read the comments and find out that throat singing and Azyan's 'falcon cries' are strange to some people and they need to get used to it - it is really interesting to see reaction of people who were probably not accustomed to these sounds, and they seem new to them. For us here (though we are in Eastern part of the country) they are very familiar and popular, as well as vargan. And mixes of folk, ethnical instruments and singing with modern vibes are also very popular. In my childhood we saw a lot of ethnical dances from all over the country on TV, and Siberian and northern culture was among them, so it became a huge part of our lives. I guess everybody here know as well Mongolian throat singing and elements of their national dances - steppes from where nomads (see comment by Ashley below) came are rather close here. Little comment on Altay as indigenous area - most (or at least many) areas in the country are indigenous, though people travel and mix a lot. There are small peoples and larger peoples inhabiting whole republics here, but they are all still indigenous (Tatarstan, Kalmykia, Bashkortostan, Buriatia, Yakutia, and so on). Altay was the motherland of Turkic nations, and in the video representatives of different Turkic branches sing together, it is very symbolical. In this song they sing about tengrian pantheon, naming the gods. You are quite right, they are celebrating the land. Thank you for you reactions! (I'll try to find music of those groups you mentioned)
and since you mentioned cultural associations and relations, here are just two more representatives, and you may find ethnical elements similar with those used by Otyken, they are not for reaction, just to show how widely spread those cultural elements are - The HU ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eb3ysMtu8t0.html with Mongoilan rock (this very video uses a lot of ethnical references, though it is modern music), Ashley told below about the hunnus, their ancestors (and we were part of Mongolian empire with China and whole Siberia). Another one is from Koryak State Academical National Ensamble 'Mango' ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eaW0NwcApXU.html. It is Far East of Russia, Kamchatka (and they are very close to Native Americans, even in myths and folklore). Just to compare if you are interested in cultural elements.
Watch the OTYKEN concert in Moscow, it's amazing! 🥰❤ You can divide it into several parts to make it more convenient for you. But be careful, you will completely fall in love with them 😃
Haniers 😅.. have you seen how hi- jacked this post has become ? Some REAL haters , some REALLY political BS , looks like posting Otyken stirs up some real nasty claims , like origin for instance . Is it Turkish , Siberian , Russian ? I frankly don’t care about their origin or cultural significance , but I do object to the hate comments they’ve generated . Something to consider I think 🤷♂️I’ve reported a few 👍🏴
I've never heard either pronounced this way, whenever I heard Ummet introed on stage it's pronounced AH-MET, and best example of Otyken I can give is Ummet says it in this song OH-TEA-KEN
This is a shamanic chant , I'd be afeart to play this, incase I inadvertently summoned up belzabub , and his posse of demons,,, I'm not interested in my own religious heritage, far less anyone else's, my they go , and may Thier gods " go" with them 🏴 happy healthy peace ✌️
Amazing video. Keep it up, guys! 👍 The Siberian people might seem small and insignificant in the big picture of human history, yet they influenced the world more than any other group of people. Siberia is where the Native American tribes originated before crossing the Bering Strait some 12,000 years ago. These are also the lands where the Hun tribes came from. The tribes of Attila, whose conquest of the Middle East (Turkey + almost everything up to Egypt) and most of Eastern Europe (including the Balkans) all the way up to Germany, influenced most European languages, brought the dying Roman Empire to its knees (both Western and Eastern), drove out Slavic people further West, starting the Great Migration era. It's the home of a language that brought us Finnish and Hungarian languages. Due to infighting among the Huns, which led to empires and tribes under their control to revolt against them, their last holdings were Hungary and Finland. You see, the Siberian people usually don't venture outside of their villages, but in the past when they did, half the earth was speaking their language.

That's as maybe but the mongol peoples are distinctly different looking to Turkic folk so if there is a common lineage it dates back to a very long time ago. @@nadiravc5958

@@hanierfamily maybe Huldra or Svarteboka? Just to get familiar, I mean the lyrics are in Norwegian, but the (sorry RU-vid) always faulty translate will make you get the jist of it combined with the visuals and knowing they are folque based. In my opinion atleast.
I had to have a second listen to this because i thought it deserved a second chance. First impressions weren't good but something made me listen again. To me, it's sounding like a mixture of indigenous Australian music and bangra music. It kinda works.
