He would've tried his hand if that female coworker gave him a chance, and he CONFIRMED that when his homeboy asked him about it. Chante KNEW who her man was... she knew what was up 🤷‍♀️🙃🤣

And you have to remember that we are seeing this from Shantae's POV. Of course, it'll look bad to her. There is such a thing as an "unreliable narrator" in many stories. We can only ever see her POV on this because it's her story. She doesn't know what was happening between Keith and his coworker, but she just assumed. Which ultimately leads to the craziness in this film. And as we saw, Shantae was wrong for most of this movie. She tried to control Keith when he really did nothing wrong aside from listening to his friend. Did he know about all her rules? No. Did Shantae even consider that maybe he really had to work late? Nope. Was he cheating on her? Nyet.
