None that I know of. Tower and Phoenix must have liked the number and the decal scheme is pretty close to the current manufacturers offerings. Never noticed that lol.

@@josephhubbard5299 Yeah, its a kinda kiwi (New Zealander that is, not the fruit) thing that your eye is automatically drawn to anything remotely associated, like a capitalized 'Z' in a text passage, or in this case a NZ registration number. Oddly, in the mid 1990s a family member used to live right next door to the regional airfield where the full size ZK-CFL now flies from. Some interesting types used to fly in and out of there.

Good question. Personal experience says the 125 for sure. But I rarely fly above 1/2 throttle.. flown lots of radials, prefer power to spare rather than a critical situation if I drop a cylinder on climb out.

No issues either way John. Right you are, but the smoother non vibratory power curve of the radial excels over the high compression 2 stroke gassers of half the size. We have had or have three of these Phoenix Models. Some if not all ARF models should be inspected by the owner for defect or fortification of design issues. One I gussetted and reglued, one I did not. No failures no complaints no claims against the builders, or pilots. Lol
