I stopped playing high life genre as a drummer on December, 2006, but 13yrs after this album made me love high life and endeared me to Umu Obiligbo that I had to download all their past discography, I became disappointed when they fused dance hall to their original genre and I hope it won't affects them. Nonetheless, my love for this album and Aro Nwa Nteje track in one of their previous albums has indeed endeared me to them. #IgboAmaka #UmuObiligbo #ObiRoyce
My neighbors in Johannesburg know that Umu Obiligbo stays on full blast, especially Okwuego. I can't understand a word of the Igbo language yet (except "Odogwu" and "nwannem"), but so what. Good music is good music.
