Yooooo! My boy Hayato! Never thought he'd make it on here, honestly thought it'd be too complex and intricate to pull off. But he's here like he always belonged. I tip my hat to you, sir. For perfecting one of my favorite characters. 👌
As a person who grew up playing Plasma Sword and Star Gladiator, seeing Hayato Kanzaki in MvC blew me away, sucks he never came back as a playable character, he is still a main for me in MvC2
Not too familiar with CE; what does the timed install after Energy Field do in this mod? iirc it gave Hayato infinite meter in MvC2, but it looks like his Lv.1s are still costing a bar with the install during these combos.
so his install doesnt give infinite meter? shame it was cool how it worked in mvc2. Made him a good cheap option of a character if you wanted to save meter
His lvl 3(Black Hayato) feels a little janky and less impactful, but overall this looks awesome. I'm getting my main back 😮 And yeah I know he's still work in progress. Still awesome.
I couldn't disagree more- 850-900k damage for these BnBs that use 2 meters without supports being used for extensions, AND you can build meter in his install, making those combos [again, without assists] basically completely neutral on meter. That's huge.
@@PrimeKeroHS 564 got boosted to 839 by burning two bars, not a great return. 576 to 895 for 2 bars on the second but it adds a point of failure if it doesn't end in the corner. 518 to 769 for 2 bars on the last one. Not seeing where you are getting your numbers from but it wasn't the combos in this video. 590 to 1m+ on the level 3 though
I don't feel hype for these o.p added characters. They can all kill you 1 combo and without a DHC or even an assist. The original game is better because it's at least a 2 player game. This mod stuff is just about who gets the hit 1st
@@yami-kay9099 ??? Most teams in the original game are designed to do one touch kills. My OG team of Spencer, hawkeye, doom can one touch kill from almost anywhere on screen. I haven’t seen a zero team that can’t one touch kill from literally anywhere. Hulk,hagger,sentinel can pour out consistent one touch kills. Firebrand, skrull have literally 300% unblockable. Dark phoenix one touch kills anyone. And these are just the popular teams. There’s a whole load of more execution heavy teams that are less used but still more than capable of doing one touch kills. And I mean even you aren’t talking about whole teams and individual characters Vergil, Dante, Spencer, Doom, can all one touch kill a lot of the cast without DHC or X Factor. And like 90 percent of the cast can still do 800k damage solo which one touch kill a lot of characters.
@NMPziirr my good sir, half your comment isn't applicable. All teams can kill with meter, x factor or added assists.I'm simply saying all these mod characters are zero (they dont need a team). They don't need anything but meter. Even zero used an assist at the least. The new mod characters are all so simple and o.p they just need meter period
@@yami-kay9099 so hayato solo just needs meter but like Vergil/doom solo with meter can’t do the same ? Cause let me tell you I rather be against solo hayato than solo Vergil. And if we talking damage output hayato doing solo 800k to 1mil by starting with to bars and doing lvl 3. I can find a lot of the cast that can pour out the same damage.
@NMPziirr most of the cast would need an assist and dhc. I believe you are trying to say because Hayato isn't as bad as vergil, that it's cool. I think if you are comparing him to vergil than that alone proves my point. Vergil and dark phoenix were clearly O.P. these new characters are like right under that level of power. Stronger than Donte, Doom, Dormamu, strange, etc.
@@yami-kay9099 what I’m saying is this character like most modded characters would probably fit in the base game no problem. If he was in the base game Im pretty sure he would be in the level of like nova, Spencer, magneto like a good rush down character but would still need assist to get in. Like saying hayato can kill you in one combo without dhc or assist is fine but it’s not a big deal in marvel honestly there’s characters in the base game that can do that. I don’t think hayato is overpowered because he can do high damage. I think he is a good character but I wouldn’t switch him out for my Spencer even tho they are both good point and rush characters.
Hayato?! Speaking English?! Awesome!!! They should fix and add English voices for the Rival Schools characters, Cammy, Ken etc BTW when’s Gene? Then add Blackheart, Jin, Cable, and Magma Dragoon as he was silhouetted in a trailer
