UMvC3 coL Filipino Champ vs BT Clockwork - Curleh Mustache West vol. 2 

Champ was indirectly trying to blow up Yipes saying Clock is the best in Brokentier, and Yipes isn't in Brokentier anymore. Hence " he didn't get the memo ".

It will never die for the simple fact that there will always be low-tier heroes. They'll bring the hype when it comes down to it. Yes, a LOT of top players pick high tier, but there is more variety then just Doom, Vergil, and Zero. There's also Morrigan, Dormammu, Spencer, Magneto, Nova, Dr. Strange, Strider, Ryu, Sentinel. There's a pretty good pick of top characters. It's just about being creative and consistent. There's even some good Iron Mans out there. There will always be hype.

It got an update, in the form of Ultimate. It just switched out Phoenix's for more Vergil's. It brought in 12 new characters, and few of them get played. An update won't fix it, top players will still pick who's best and who works for them.

i am not sure what clock is trying to do with his team,him replacing ammy for vergil takes out doom's ability to mix up(cold star lockdown) and relies solely on strider getting the hard knock down,he tends to go all in with vergil on second with almost no tools for extending combo or mixups(vajra is ok),but if vergil is gone then solo strider meterless without xfactor can't do anything even if clockwork is the best in the business

Yeah, KOF13 has always impressed me with how many characters are viable. (either that, or it's how many character loyalists there are that make their characters viable.)

KOF is a balanced game but there are bad matchups in that game too. Benimaru is used pretty significantly in all the matches I've watched. I don't see King as much as I used to. Takuma, yes. Kim, yes. I don't see Hwa as much as I used to either. I definitely agree with ex Kyo and Iori. The point I was trying to make is that he sure as hell is seen more than a lot of the other characters in the game, tournament wise.

You took my comment completely out of context. What I meant was, no matter what updates are made, people are going to pick the best characters. In AE, Yun was popular. Now that he's been nerfed into the ground and Cammy was given significant updates, you rarely see him and Cammy is used by a majority of players now. Updates don't always help the situation if they aren't done right.

no but even when he does play with "top tier" chacters and loses he quickly goes back to the same team he's been using since MvC2

Also, MVC2 lasted until 2011. UMVC3 is going to last just as long if not longer. The scene will only get bigger. Casuals will leave but vets will stay.

True but in the first round Champ keep wasting all his meter and Clock took a lot of damage by running in instead he should have sat back or keep jumping.

Marvel 2 was the same teams and characters. Street Fighter 4 nerfed characters in Super & AE...it just created new top tiers (i.e. Cammy) Almost every top player in KOF uses Benimaru in some form. An update doesn't always fix everything. Top players will adapt and pick the best characters in order to win.

Clockwork was doing some unnecessary risk throughout the matches and that's why he lost.I don't why he was on the attack so much.

His teleport is not fast enough to ya to do it before he even tries to plasma knowing its coming. otherwise it gets there pretty quick and you get punished for trying to punish lol

Benimaru? Nah, Kim, Hwa, Mr. Karate, ex Kyo, ex Iori, ect... Don't get me wrong Benimaru does see a fair amount of play but "almost every top player" uses Benimaru? I can't agree at all.

Wrong on so many levels. Zero and Vergil have so much style and so many different combinations of combos that they are far from boring and predictable. If anything, Doom is the SUPER boring and predictable one UNLESS you're as skilled as someone such as MarlinPie. Clock should've kept Ammy though since, from what I can see, was slacking hard with Vergil as if he just picked him up a month or two ago -_______-

You're acting foolish my friend. Patching Marvel does not fix "all the pro's are using top-tier." No matter if they nerf Vergil, they'll just start using new top-tier characters. It's how competitive gaming is. You play to win, not to lose.

Wow, Clockwork, switced ammy for Vergil -__-. This is why Marvel needs an update, all the top players are picking the top tier characters, and eventually all you will see are zero's, vergil's, and doctor doom's on every team. Boring, and predictable. I'm afraid the scene will die very fast if Marvel doesn't get a patch update or a few new roster of characters.
