I hope UMC3 still continues for 1 more year, because I wanna see one more battle between J wong and Chris G for the title of EVO champ, considering how well J Wong did with Vergil. And Yipes really needed a partner who can compliment his commentary style, even if it's random convos.

Congradulations Chris. You worked really hard on spamming those projectiles and relying on Morrigan's clone. You deserve to win with your projectiles flying around the screen of UMVC3 over the years. Thanks for making us watch a boring game. I really appreciate it. I always look forward to seeing a match where one player is actually trying to get close and fight whilst the other is zoning with the exact same projectiles over and over again. I'm sure someone got a seizure from all those bloody projectiles going everywhere. Anywho, congradulations mortal.
Oh my God people shut up about spamming. It's spamming when you don't have a valid strategy. This was pretty valid. Complain about people trying to find techs that wasn't intentionally designed to be used during play. He used Morrigans hyper the way it was supposed to be used. To create confusion and pressure. You all sound like haters who if you were up there would be doing the same.
No, let's be a little more honest here. Chris is by no mean a bad player (and his comboes demonstrate it), but he sure as hell is a spammer. Spamming is by definition the act of throwing out the same exact projectile or move for the entire duration of the game, which is exactly what he does, and it may be my honest opinion, but I see very little strategy in using Morrigan's Soul Fist Spam + random assists. He relies almost exclusively on that, and that first game showed it pretty damn well: without Morrigan, he's already 50% dead. I'm not saying it's wrong, though, at least in a tournament: if it's about winning money, you have all the justification in the world to do that.
@@irvinmorales1409 which is still not reliable, and there are better players than him who can pull it off way better. Just cause he has dark Vergil don't mean he's the threat.
But that's the problem with alot of fighting games. If a confirm goes in, expect atleast 50-60% damage. MVC broke that into 3 characters, hence realistically, maximum of 33% of full life (without happy birthday). Watch DOA or Smash instead if that's your concern.

Yes, but that is the problem, if morrigan have exagerate fireballs, hulk have exagerate damage, anyways all characters have diferences, but the fans of KBR are cryings, they call cheap characters the chris selections, well, that characters are official right?, if not liked, KBR can select morrigan if he want, hahaha, or if he "can", chris win, KBR lose, cheaps??? no, chris win with selectable characters.

Nobody is getting better at this game, and this GF match proves it, because it's the most boring FInals that Marvel EVO has ever had. Go ahead, watch all of them....but you don't have to, because I already know nobody's going to rewatch a 6-0 match. Marvel's dead.
+shindean 6-1 actually. And a terrible matchup, KBr is weak against players that's good at zoning.. he got bodied by fchamp too. About the drops you can expect that players are tense, and it's not easy to confirm at some point so they just go for a safe neutral rather than taking a risk.
yems KBR has destroyed Chris G dozens of times over. Bad match is no excuse, otherwise FP Champ could easily wipe the floor with KBR (and he can complete his doom combos). Everyone is soft, except one guy, who hasn't done anything new in the last four years (not even learn to finish his doom combos). Not one, not two, but three dropped doom combos by Chris G. In the past, that would've cost him the finals...this year, he can mess up because nobody is getting better. Marvel is dead.
+shindean lol show me vids of him beating chris 12 times XD KBr just got lucky back then bec. Chris haven't studied his moves beforehand. Players are already getting used to KBR's team and won't be long enough before they start countering him for good.

I respect chris g as a player. He has put in the time and effort to be a champion and his strategy is hella effective. With that said he is by far yhe worst evo winner ever. His style is effective but is absolutely a garbage tactic. It is literally just spamming and chip damage. But it beat Jwong. Right now i think IHEARTJUSTICE is one of the best mahvel plays to watch.
