I'm a Congolese. They must go because they don't do nothing there. Imagine!!! Their duty is to keep peace. And, how could they keep peace when there's no peace. They should maintain peace and then keep it. Instead of doing so, they were supplying weapons to both rebel groups in order to buy enough time for stealing our resources and committing crimes. In that case, they are not peacemaker or peacekeepers. "They are criminals, and minerals heists." So, they must go and never return.

Thank you! I have seen plenty videos of the "peacekeepers" stealing and hoarding gold and other minerals in the vehicles and drones. Nobody will trust the UN forces after what we continue to see in Africa, they're done. Look at what Nigeria under the ECOMOG did in Liberia, Seria Leon and others. Even though there where we're issues but they put the civil wars to a stop before leaving. If we can go back to the way we deal with things and rely on our origin we'd get it right.

Problem is UN sends Pakistanis as peacekeepers. The Pakistani army behave as brown-colonizers against the native population.

The leaders are stealing the resources and selling them cheap. It's the same as in slavery. Europeans didn't enslave Africans, other Africans did, and sold them off. Because Africans are on yhe whole pretty racist/tribal they want to pretend it's all the outsider's fault. Truth is here in Africa that it's dog eat dog, and foreign countries can exploit the greed of individual Africans and their lack humility of respect for their own country and fellow African.

If you send European, Philippines, Malaysian, Thailand, Japan, Korea... countries that have the culture of politeness and courtesy, you will see a drop of violations. My uncle was a UN Peacekeeper in 2010 in Haiti, and he said he had reports against African UN Peacekeepers.

@@kandisphere8828 I don't know, my uncle was a Major back then, part of the Philippine UN peace keeping force. He only mentioned receiving complains from African UN Peacekeepers, the Filipinos received none but it's a bad look for UN Peacekeepers though regardless.

I think there are two negative sides: UN are overpaid self important but foolish in many cases. But also Africans are often jealous, selfish and take no personal responsibility. This they don't want to help or support peacekeeping, they themselves are just running around for what they can get. Personally I think the Congo cannot run itself because of individual greed, and part of the reason for hatibg outsiders is because they stop the powerful stealing from the weak. Fundamentally this is the reason for huge wealth division here in Africa.

How can someone who is absolutely not discipline with no self control resulting to many sexual assaults and also thefts which is not mentioned here, be sent to enforce some discipline by being a guard and enforcer of rules and regulations.
