I have it it's one of my most worn of my Montales. It might be redundant if you own Black Aoud. I think a lot of the Montales resemble each other. Attar is good though, mine has a literal dent in it 😂
There's no real audible difference between é and ée. Check out the French Pronunciation Guide, they have correct audio for Ténéré on their channel. The Ténéré desert was almost synonymous with the Dakar (then Paris-Dakar) rally which was still fairly new and exciting, and massively popular then. Probably bandwagon jumping from Paco Rabanne at the time.
I used a French pronunciation source for all these words, I just stumble over them anyway because my tongue is Baltimore City Public Schools circa 1986-2000 trained. 🤣
