Part 2 of 3 (See other videos) Being a tango, the melody and instrumentation would pair wonderfully with a slow dance. But the "haywire" aspect, presumably referring to your 1/8 addition, offsets what should be something graceful and/or sultry with something more...brooding. Perhaps it's the dance of the mind: a lover watching over the environment high above in a residence waiting for the significant other, an infidel unaware of his exposure, to return, the details of the scene mentally repeating. Perhaps the dance is pacing the floor. As it progresses, we have some overtones of some major keys, as if briefly life seems to be normal, but the reality seeps through, punctuated by those final notes. Amazing!
I keep getting so invested in this one and how it somehow sounds like a much bigger group than it is. Fabulous orchestration and of course, I wish it were longer!
