Fun Fact: Each Hashira actually did get reincarnated into a Modern time period where they can actually not suffer from the pain of being a Demon Slayer/Hashira. They can finally live normal lives and fulfill what they wanted. So yes, in theory, they are living an un-traumatized life. Most of the Demons however got sent to hell including Akaza. A bonus fact revolving Akaza: Akaza's wife (Koyuki, the one he had before becoming a Demon) actually stepped down from Heaven and went to hell with him because she didn't want to leave him. That alone is WHOLESOME.

The Muichiro one hit the hardest in my opinion because just seeing Muichiro smiling and with his brother is just ❤ But ofc, all the Hashiras didn’t deserve this suffering. They all deserved a happy life 💔❤️‍🩹❤

Sanemi always breaks me, because he was such a sweet little kid until the very events that lead him to being who he is 🙁!! I cry for Giyuu though, everything hits so hard 😭😭😭.

Tbh, I see these being on edge split second events. Like muichiro and yuichiro. They get attacked by the demon but our wifu mommy saves him in time. Mitsuri if she decided to ignore the insult and move on to someone else who adored her strength and beauty, she would have been married with someone in her town... Iguro- if he was never born into a family of thieves or if rengokus father had been there before iguro got his mouth slashed- Iguro would probably sell food, maybe have a little animal shelter or something. He could probably sell small pets to families and people who needed someone by their side, like elderly people. Where he meets our snakey boi- spoiler alert, he names his very successful shop after his snake And he might even have a little respect for women, just enough to where he may bat an eye every once in a while but remembering he was raised by women so they would probably see him as one of them lol Tengen would probably be less flashy with things but he'd be more humble I think Sanemi and genya.. Despite their truama leaving, they will still be in debt and live poorly due to their huge family, although, I do see sanemi and genya hosting some weird family contest things with rewards that includes wrestling, cooking, arts and crafts and fun fair stuff to get money and dress their mom up as a queen or a fairy while she tells stories for kids- idk why but I see that happening (keeping the canon father death ofc.) Giyuu would probably rough house with Sabito all the time in front of the others much like how rengoku and Tengen do. Giyuu would have something to look forward to everyday, his best friend by his side! Those are just like split second changes that could drastically change their lives if they did that/ or had it happen. I like to think about that. Iguro with his animal shelter. Mitsuri having a happy family in the town she grew up in, her dream come true. Giyuu having hope for life and excitement. Sanemi and Genya having contests. Tengen being calmer Rengoku would be 10x calmer and happier, senjuro would be more confident and would make some friends. Mui & Yui. Maybe they got attacked, but they have each other, they look up to our wifu as a mommy and often eat dinner with her and call the other twins their siblings- like a big happy family again Brings a smile to my face thinking about it EDIT: AH! ALSO I IMAGINE SABITO AND GIYUU SURFING!

This made me cry. But still it made me so mad thinking of what would have happened if Yuichiro accepted Amane’s offer to be a demon slayer 😭
