Una and the lion Silver Barr is based on a famous coin of England, Una and the lion, that commemorated the then new queen of England, Queen Victoria 1.

Have the 10 oz. Una and the Lion bar and the RCM 10 oz. bar. Love them! I couldn't resist (carefully) extracting them from the plastic protection and placing them in Air-Tites. I have since become a big fan of 10 oz. bars, but have yet to purchase more. If the collection angle doesn't work out, we still have 10 oz. of fine silver that will someday command whatever the future spot price is!

There's also the 100 oz bar version. I believe only 3000 pieces were made.

I first saw them I was'nt going to buy them either, then I noticed my go to store sold out in 2 days , thats when ''FOMO'' set in, I raced through my # 2 , #3, and #4 stores before I found some, had to pay 10 bucks for shipping but now I'm satisfied

Very nice! I only picked up the 10 oz version. I like it! And it’s a limited mintage 1st in series, so I think they will do well in the future. 👍

Im new to the game. Didnt see how much these were going for. But i see how much theyre going for now. What did u guys pay if u dont mind me asking? Cant wait for the next in series

@@richardgiesey9951 it's been a while, but maybe $32/oz or something like that. It's a nice design and sometimes you can get it at a decent price right when they are released

Oddly enough, the spot price of silver today (a year later) is about the same as the date of this video and the "Una and The Lion" 10oz bars are commanding a $550.00 price on eBay, In retrospect I should've trusted my instincts and bought more at the time because I'm never going to sell my most loved piece of silver 10oz art in my collection.

Bought 4 of the 10 oz and 2 sheets of the 1 oz. Sadly, ALL of the 1oz have milk spotting. Royal Mint seriously needs to fix their milk spotting issue.

I bought the 10 oz and 5 1oz plus the gold bar from different dealers, so I don’t have them all yet, but the 1 10oz bar I got from bullion exchanges I was pissed because it arrived damaged with a dent on the design side of the bar so fuck bullion exchanges for that, will never buy from them again but I’m glad I got the other ones

I wouldn't be too hard on them, the Royal mint's quality control with this bar series has been horrendous

@@aliciacb8284747274 also this is not the first time I’ve received damaged product from bullion exchanges, I once bought a bu ounce of platinum from them it arrived with scratches, definitely not bu, I’m tired of their shit and to make things even worse, they don’t allow returns for any reason.

They are nice bars, but I do think the wind swirls should've been sticking out like the rest of the detail instead of just a different texture, that part bothers me for some reason 😂
